Jacob Groening’s debut EP for Kamai Music takes the listener on a trip out into the wide open, a journey through wild sonic landscapes. The title track - „Sulg“ (A1) sets the mood. A blurred picture rendered
through a minimalistic instrumentation of echoing saxophones, guitars and piano. It oscillates around repetitive themes that range from oriental sounds to reduced blues chords like in „Giom“ (A2).
The B-Side shifts away from this and shines its light on South American influences as in „Sosa“ (B1) and the remix „Sulg“' (B2) by the Argentinian producers„Kermesse“.
