The sixth Daydream release proudly celebrates the first ever solo EP of an historic artist of the imprint and good friend MJOG. Spread across 3 tracks, -Trust First- has been in fruition over the past year and is the biggest project of MJOG s career to date. Produced to display his confidence and friendship for the label, the EP embodies the artist s depth of knowledge and showcases his diversity as a producer by drawing from different influences. Side A takes off with the title track, a straight up minimal club banger infused with chunky percussions, ethereal pads and vocal clips overflowing with warmth and emotion. On the flip side, this is MJOG turning up the energy levels with -Brainwave-. A beautiful journey rhythmed by a solid drumbeat, metallic sounds and enchanting melody drifts giving it an interstellar feel. To close the EP, prepare to embark on a -Pacific Dream-, a galloping beat combining strong drums with alluring and atmospheric dubby pads, turning it into a galactic ditty.
