For the next volume of the long running Turntables on the Hudson series, we head down south to Brazil to get a little dancefloor sunshine to warm up these cold winter months. The Turntables on Ipanema EP features four tracks on a 12inch from the digital compilation which will be dropping the same day on Wonderwheel Recordings. First up, Brazil s DJ G gives us Samba Da Terra, a deep, jazzy Brazilian house/samba fusion joint sure to get all the dancers on the floor. Next, the ever prolific Simbad comes through with the brand new Detroit De Janiero, a bangin track equally inspired by early Motor City Techno as the drum rhythms of Brazil. On the flip side, Nickodemus and Simbad collaborate on BerimBOOM another deep Electronic house joint with an infectious bassline that percussively floats into Rio. Rounding up the EP, Wonderwheel mainstay Zeb comes with the slo-mo spacey dub house vibes of space Forest.
