2008 veröffentlichten The National eine DVD mit dem Dokumentarfilm "A Skin, A Night" samt einer Bonus-CD namens "The Virginia EP". Darauf zu hören: B-Seiten, Demos, ein Session-Track und famose Live-Tracks, darunter "Fake Empire" und eine Coverversion von Bruce Springsteens "Mansion On The Hill". Dazu eine damals unveröffentlichte Studioaufnahme und eine Coverversion von Caroline Martins "Without Permission". Die zwölf Songs waren damals nur auf CD erhältlich und erfahren nun erstmals eine Vinylveröffentlichung auf farbigem 180-Gramm-Vinyl.[info from id]
