After releases on Red and Wolf Music and some great remixes on Futureboogie, Paper and 2020, Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe PKA PBR Streetgang grace Hot Creations with this great release. 'Downstroke' is a throbbing, overdriven bass heavy, dirty house bomb complete with low-slung weighty vocals that are steeped in more funk than the south side of Chicago.
On the flip and Deetron on remix duties needs no introduction. Hot on the heels of his recent fantastic Balance DJ Mix album, he works his magic, flanging the drums and adding a battalion of ominous analogue keys and stabs and a sonic backwash breakdown creating the perfect retro take on the original, truly outstanding. Finally, there is the 'Vibos' another great slice of deep, heady, hooky house. This instrumental groover is complete with a unfathomably infectious bassline and a great groove that will have them dancing till dawn. A great EP from PBR Streetgang, that is already set to be another classic release for Hot Creations. Boom!
