The first release on the hotly anticipated Recore Records, A-Fair comprises of three tracks from Jack Barton, with a remix for the lead track from Pawas, a must have name in anybodies record collection. Jack Barton although relatively new to production, with this his second release, he is no stranger to making waves on the dancefloor and can be regularly seen playing not only in his hometown of Manchester, but also much further afield. This EP showcases his talents as a producer with a spectrum of sounds from each track.

A-Fair - Jacks original version combines some beautifully created synths and some deep house bass lines to give this upbeat deep house number, sure to be able to work its way into many a DJ set Toothache - This track has a more driving feel to it, with more dubby sounds it fits better into the late night sets with ease. This track has a slight more tech house feel to it, but remains deep and dubby with its minimal nature. A-Fair (Pawas Remix) - To take the original of this track and to do a better job could not have been done by many, however, in this case, Pawas was obviously the man for the job! Known well on the underground scene, Pawas was a natural choice for the first remix on Recore Records, and he has set a high standard to follow, With glitched and delayed synth loops and a new take on the percussion, this remix is more suited for peak hour play to really get that dancefloor moving. Deep Cut - Final track on the Ep, and Jack gives us a somber late night number. Perfect for a more chilled side to the release, the clue is in the title. The full 7 minutes 22 oozes 'deep,' whilst keeping those feet tapping throughout.
