The first cut >Flip Mode< is a great throwback to the jack of i:Cubes hit Disco Cubism. Utilizing the same slammin key sample, Wattie slices it up just right and puts in the smoker very early in the morning. After about 8 hours, it comes out and is seasoned to perfection with his solid beats and break wisdom resulting in one hell of a delicious dance floor bomb.
On the flip side, we have a "Love Break" which is a beautiful Mexican style dish loaded with Latin flavor. This cut is quite a departure from Wattie signature swinging style, but consistent and tantalizing to the tongue as all of his dishes are. Throwing us back to the days of the Latin house craze, Wattie bastes and bakes this acoustic bass and piano baby to perfection.
