Amsterdam imprint Area Remote specialises in showcasing the latest sounds from abroad - plus welcomes the newest rising stars from Amsterdam.

For our 16th edition we welcome back Ray Okpara with his 2nd release on Area Remote. Ray’s a self confessed vodka tonic lover with Nigerian roots now living in Mannheim, Germany. He’s been creating quite a stir with his numerous releases and when not producing, he’s busy preparing for his first live act in 2010.

On the A side you’ll find Tru Crowd, a funky house cocktail of hypnotic beats and sand-filled percussion entwined with tantalizing, distorted vocal snippets and some surprising samples of applauding crowds. A tru crowd pleaser!

On the flip you’ll discover Vocal Experience with its sexy throbbing beats and deep dark sci-fi vocals. A soundscape for the big room – you’re going to love this (vocal) experience.
