the unleash imprint is back on a roll lately and this new release from the fantastic german producer chris delay. the 2 tracks are crispy tech house aimed for the floor with the a side building neatly towards its mid break synth riff before proceeding at full steam through the last third of the track. the flip side is equally effective with its driving bassline and cool detroit influenced synths..
great 2 tracker of crisp, sonic soundscapes. the a side is a tear jerking string laden tech houser with its almost breakbeat drum rhythm and menacing simple chord leading into further layers of strings and other instrumentation. we are then trated to some nice free style chords as the track rolls on. on the flip there is a wonderful maurizio/basic channel influenced tripped out groove for the after hours set
this fine 2 tracker from solar kingdom starts on the aside with a fine twisted bass riff and effected percussion. then we are treated to the warm pads and more layers of percussion. a good late night mover. on he flip side we have a similar laid back piece with its nagging bassline and smooth chords
here we have a retrospective of tracks from the brilliant producer tomie nevada. it is a dbl pack that features some of his finest moments from the last few years including tracks from unleash and memory lane as well as 3 bonus unreleased tracks that have never seen the light of day. a worthy purchase
unleash has been on a real roll of late with their beautifully crafted tech house releases. this relase is from a promising new french artist called electric rescue. the a side of this wonderful release glides from the start with its rising deep chords and grooving funky bassline before hitting the main synth lines to devastating effect. the flip side is a real detroit techno influenced burner with its off kick and key change string stabs
chris delay is a producer who is making a real mark for himself. he has produced brilliant material for the likes of elp and i220. now he turns in a wonderful 2 tracker for the sublime unleash label. the a side is a cracking bassline driven techy groove with some old school percussion fills before the synth laden break and killer drop. the flip has a more subliminal, darker shuffled feel again with crisp synth edits and cool production. another great release from unleash
a funky tech house offering, with a nice deep and rolling analogue bass line and some cool vocal loops. he then injects some tasty tecchy elements as he gently builds the production for the dance floor. expect some tasty dj action
summer clips is a funky melodic number with catchy riffs and a funky bassline, vocal snippets and strong tecchy flavas, for a cool dance floor vibe. shake that takes a tougher approach, still with deep tecchy vibes, but with amore minimal production. lost & found rounds off this releases with its very prominent rollin deep bass line, sparse vocal snippets
this ep consists of tracks from unplugged sessions from tomie nevada and gadjets. here we have a selection of dub influenced tracks and eclectic cuts that are both interesting and fresh. check it out! - strong limited!!!
