mit hilfe von truth & soul wird hier eine echte soul-perle aus den 70er jahren zum vorschein gebracht. der songschreiber und produzent lawrence carroll aus arizona arbeitete zwischen 1965 und 1971 als schlagzeuger bei motown. er entdeckte qunestine strong 1973 in einer kirche, erkannte das große potential und nahm mit ihr und den arrangeuren prince shell und virgil lane diesen feinen psychedelic-soul auf.
