the second installment of the radar remixes hails in two like-minded spirits that each take on a classic belgian house track. dutchman nymfo takes on ultrasonic7s lips they move and turns it into a funky summertime tune with an absolutely exquisite hiphop break. full vocal and full on instrumentation guarantee you ll keep your ears to the speaker. combining highpitched beats, funky licks and a wobbly, a.i.-esque bassline, nymfo delivers something quite unlike his usual work, but does it amazingly well. expect this to go straight to daytime radio! the producers producer, mr dnaudio and sir synergy, the one they call break, steps up to rework summers here by magnus, aka deus tom barman and techno legend cj bolland. he reconstructs the track, using vocals, rhodes, guitar and subtle percussion, and works gently towards the drop which is as catchy as it is entising: clean, crisp breakbeats are supported by the deepest dubstyle bassline youve heard to date and together they keep things rollin effortlessly.
murdocks radar records launches an entirely new project, backed by some of the biggest names in drum&bass. remixing a gang of classic belgian non-dnb tracks by the likes of t99, sound of stereo, the subs, outlander and many more, they kick off the series with massive drum&bass reworks by none other than netsky and kg.
coinciding with the release of his jungle fever mix cd, he now launches radar records, inspired by the incredible talent of his protege netsky, an artist who has risen through the ranks of drum&bass like few have done before him.
