known primarily in the drum & bass world as mode and having released on esteemed labels like exit ingredients. mode aka until silence is no newcomer to the scene. under this alias we see him take a slower approach with styles taken from house with steady 4/4 patterns and dancefloor styles as seen on jackin.triangle sets a more idm feel with its warped spoken word and quircky, boards of canada-esque atmosphere.

red007 sees pushing red taking a slightly different turn with more of a juke style release. (greek - known as dimitri) buckles down with a with what could be called as a fusion of juke, ghetto house & footwork to outstanding results. the sharp 808 kicks and bassline pulsate throughout the tune while a sharp vocal sample cuts through giving the tune that much more punch! flip over for the wonderful ikonika remix. ikonika has really taken this tune and given it her own feel and appeal. turning the stormer into more of a halftime/ house feel, its hard to put to words the outcome. its ferocious & melodic and all wrapped up with that signature ikonika feel! one you just have to hear!

until silence attacks with his second offering on the label and one of the strongest releases yet. a great follow up to his debut 12 for us and flexing his knack for acid & house all on one killer 12. that shine kicks off with pulsating kicks and off kilter melodies. acid lines weave in and out of the background while a strong vocal commands your attention. will do damage on any dancefloor. hands tied is straight up feel good house. a solid 4/4 keeps the momentum strong with soulful male vocals thrown on top. smooth chords bounce with the deep bassline. one for the hands in the air crew.

stickman is a name most of you arent familiar with, but that wont be for long. having already released music on labels such as med school & mindset,tom neilan is starting to turn some heads. raised on a healthy diet of hip hop and techno,those influences shine through on his debut release with red.little mans shoes keeps things fun & quirky with its playful choice of samples, rugged bassline and minimal/steppy drums.nappy heads continues on with the hip hop flavors shining through.a steady 4/4 weaves in & out of chopped up vocal samples.

red006 comes to us from none other than synkro. his fans know him from his deep & melodic excursions into bass music and this release is another fine example of what the man is capable of! a. viewpoint. a shuffling, steppy break moves things along while serene keys and pads keep things nice and smooth. vocal snippets tie everything together weaving in and out of the background. one for the deeper heads! aa. she said (ft. versa).a tune that has been picking up ears in the last couple months with additional production from versa. a slowed down burner is the serving of the day here. a very tight, crisp kick and snare builds while vocals spring in and out. thunderous bass that will work any system. sit back and take it in!
