mayak’s first part of their anniversary release continues to balance between deep and minimal house. for the a-side, the much promising noah skelton delivers a 12-minutes deep house saga, and for the 14 minutes remix on b-side we invited a legend - kamran sadeghi - who makes a sophisticated groove to support the great afterhours vibe.
zefzeed, who previously conquered fans of the authentic sound with his deep releases, presents two new music theorems on mayak records. stealthily and slowly insinuating into listeners confidence the music enters the bloodstream and begins to capture your mind. it is multi-layered, and each element is responsible for its feeling. morphing slightly muted chords obscure, light percussion guides and supports, the bass twists spring tension. in the seemingly static space of this microcosm amazing sound events occur. this record will be a nice addition to the previously picked diamonds of your collection
mayak’s resident anton kubikov returns with a new very moody, percussive and melodic house track on a-side. for remix duties we invite dubtil, who makes a complete rework, dark, pushy, but still very groovy.
mayak starts 2017 year with another bright newcomer - christopher ledger. his intelligent approach to music production and love to deep grooves is greatly shown on a-side, including original track and an ambient beatless version. on b-side we invite already beloved teluric, who makes a proper prime-time remix.
afriqua has prepared a very special morning groove with harken track on a side with very futuristic pads and a swingy beat. remix from archie hamilton makes this track a real dancefloor banger for rush hour.
we are honoured to let dilated pupils bring us a great release on mayak. a-side “remi’s phone” is a really deep spoken word techno track. “shine dub” on a b-side is probably the most rewarding dub-house track, that makes everyone smile on the dance floor, and that was tested thoroughly.
anton kubikov (half of scsi-9 duo) returns to mayak with a tripy two-tracker. strictly analog hardware polished by his talent delivered great groove. in is a classic house track with some acidelic touch, that will make crowd dance for whole 10 minutes, while out is a deep dub dive.
mayak returns back from summer holidays with a great release produced by beloved denis kaznacheev. utricularia on side a gives as a excellent example of great dubby minimalistic groove. on side b you will be rocked by ultimate jazzy remix from sit(vlad caia and cristi cons).
doubtingthomas has recently got a lot of love, and his new two-tracker on mayak shows why. * telegraph* delivers dance rhythms with the speed of light. on the other side - hypnotic groove of * taking control* comes through the bones and makes your skin go goosebump.
anton kubikov, for more than a decade well known as half of scsi-9, just landed with his next solo ep for the new moscow-based label mayak. following the label s concept anton produced two long play ambient-dub tracks. based on the classic sound, he carefully weaves in new elements that comfortably wrap up the listener in his long journey. and if the first side is more like of a leisurely stroll in a park, the second is a deep ocean dive.
