aktion mutante (violet poison and unhuman) is a synth-punk project recalling the ‘80s minimal-wave melancholic vibes with new school ebm/ cyber-punk noise cuts. the realistic mutation of the human body into a surreal and ascetic mind setting of an apocalyptic contemporary society. a live force with analogue machines. aktion mutante’s alchemy of splintered synth-punk, bloody ebm and haunting wave injects right into the veins and spreads quickly through the body. the duo of violet poison (veleno viola) and unhuman (liber null) couldnt be more suited for each other. after meeting at liber null’s duality event in 2015, the two artists clicked immediately and were able to record some material in italy during the winter of 2016. the result is this suburb 12inch which is composed of six tracks and was mixed by aconito records, london and mastered by andrea merlini, utrecht.

italian artist blasted is ready to spread his stunning music with an intense four-track ep, aelien i. the industrial architecture of this project defines the lines of his modern techno concept. blasted welcomes two remixes from the acclaimed, berlin-based producers unhuman and blush response. the ep goes straight to its revelation, neurotic patterns which bump into a dark misanthropy, an experimental sound that becomes more and more cryptic. the second track is a powerful remix by blush response and it is the result of a metallic explosion due to a mental calculation of dusty beats and low basses. unhuman s remix closes the ep, dark forces make it clear about the distorsion and intensity of aelien i s noise, techno rhythm. welcome to a unique variation of massive techno sphere.

blacksilk proudly announces its third release, the second on vinyl, reissuing a selection of tracks from dsordne, experimental electronic band active in turin during the 80’s and early 90’s. thanks to the proactive and collaborative spirit of marco milanesio, band’s founder and author of most of the songs, deserved and proper attention is finally given to three stunning original masterpieces of dusky, heavily post-punk influenced tracks veined with some sort of industrial aftertaste. these songs have been selected from a span of works, mostly autoproduced, that dsordne released in the years of activity on various labels (primarily the related hax records) or fanzines of the thriving italian underground scene of the time, which provided the perfect environment to experiment while representing the dull, grey and nihilist reality of the already post-industrial turin of the mid-80’s.

the remixed tracks from ascetic’s second album ‘everything is becoming’ are a collision between industrial techno, ebm influenced bass lines, doom and dark ambient. four berlin based artists: ancient methods, phase fatale, unhuman & luna violenta offer their take on the two opening tracks ‘utterings’ and ‘exegesis’ from the album. roared vocals, guitar both jagged, creepy and ambient, live drums and samples are all melted down and reformed into at times recognizable and at times wholly alien compositions, ancient methods, phase fatale and unhuman offer different approaches to techno punishment while luna’s interpretation is a cacophonous build that explodes into sonic abstraction. this ep is a perfect example of what berlin does so well, where genres that share aesthetic values feedback, overlap and inspire.
