after a brief hiatus, the hotmood series re-connects with it s chicago founders. hotmood had said himself that he saves all his hottest material for this series & volume 8 is proof in the pudding. the now legendary series takes a slight shift to a bit more original material.

our mexican mate guillermo santana aka hotmood is on fire. he released very successful his vinyls on labels such as: editorial, whiskey pickle, hotmoods us, tugboat edits, star creature and many more and now he has joined in our disco fruit family. he brings four wonderful cuts in disco, funky and house style, of course in the style he likes the most. we can say, this is hotmood style!

hotmood’s second release on his own imprint with partner tug boatmen solidifying the chicago/mexico partnership that gave us the first 6 hotmoods. volume 6 sold out quick but luckily volume 7 picks up right where the guadalajaran god of groove left off. 4 cuts of deep loungey disco/funk.

hotmood (guillermo) gets his own label. the mexican wonderman is no doubt the king of this scene since the summer of 2016. and with a slew of sold out releases, this guy seems unstoppable. this ep is his funkiest work yet with 2 slamming upbeat jams plus a couple global funk heaters. hand-stamped.
