molecules of the legion once again teams up with showbiz of d.i.t.c. for his debut ep “a bronx tale”. while showbiz handles production, molecules administers vocals along with appearances from dres (black sheep) and the legion. both cules and show deliver beats and rhymes as only bronx natives could. they carry on the tradition of dropping gritty neck snapping tracks that was birthed some 40 something years ago in their home town. the legion and d.i.t.c. have given us classics over the last few decades and this latest offering is sure to satisfy the craving of those looking for the real.

molecule is the type of guy that does things his own way. and for his first album that will be released on may 20th, he chose to bring his whole music equipment aboard of a ship on which he stayed for 34 days. for the record store day, he is coming up with an insight of his work’s result, and even some songs of those that he has already experimented in live…a powerful and deep sound that could only be created with such an experience, in the middle of the sea. on b-side chloe and torb are his guest for 2 efficient remixes of “rockall” and “hébrides”.

we kick off the ep with the original mix that consists of the use of dulcet tones & floating synthetic elements. next, classic house legend brett johnson delivers a floor banger with his groundbreaking remix. and to end, pioneer arthur oskan takes a depth dive into creepy late night space.

moleculez returns to meta4 ready to clear dancefloors with some of his most destructive material to date. you know you are dealing with some serious dance music when none of the tracks on a release have vocal samples. the opening track, future in progress, is blessed with a wonderfully deep kickdrum that would probably even sound good at plus20, although we havent tried that yet. out of a nowhere the track suddenly seems to have stopped when an eerie melody creeps out of the dark. this sets the tone for the rest of the release: dark, driving and threatening. gargoyle is the most driving. lava bomb the eeriest: and future in progress the most threatening. thats what we think, anyway. you decide. the last two tracks on this release are probotector and the haunted. the first is actual textbook honest to goodness industrial hardcore while the latter isnt really anything we can talk about here. highly recommended because we want to sell records
