machinegewehr tells a tale of interstellar love with his third ep for bordello a parigi, the cordyceps. four glimmering works make up this star crossed story of electro disco. the listener is wrapped in warmth from the outset with the sweetened vocals and clean synths of the title piece. -shivergold-, with its lush pads and arpeggios, pulls you to the floor before the pulsating grooves of -knight 634- take hold. the final embrace comes with the soothing sounds of -a girl you know-. a lost romance from distant world, a kiss goodbye.
