description: for our fourth record we re extremely happy to present the first ep of our limited series, made by the talented italian duo blue mondays. their -don t lie- has a lot of disco and funk influences, revisited in a classy house key: a perfect match between new and old school. in the b side we re so glad to have the house music pioneer from chicago: paul johnson. his version is more dub and raw, with some hypnotic disco samples and dirty snares that makes it so groovy. the other remix has been entrusted to the label owner alessio collina. he goes with his usual 909 groove, filtered samples and dreamy strings that reminds more some classic house records from the 90s

a few years ago we have been visited by a ufo, -dig it, understand it- has been made right after that encounter, gigi masin and william djoko provided 2 amazing remixes, something u would probably hear in a club inside an interstellar station, even though we don t know if they have turntables out there...

alex ferrazzi and matteo keemani a.k.a. blue mondays, longtime laterra friends and collaborators (with releases on sonar kollektiv, rebirth, snatch!, memento, manocalda as well), strike again. they do it, as usual, their very own way: shades of balearic flavours in there, but with a very dark and malicious twist. marvin & guy add some disco nuances (keeping it raw and obscure, though), while nick anthony simoncino delivers a solid, strict, gloomy dancefloor affair. no frills, mad quality.

for the second release on tfbm we have one of our long-time secret weapons: nerd technique, a deep-n-dirty, lo-fi tune, early 90’s techno flavor, edited by rebirth’s boss shield. we also have an amazing mix by maxi mill (rush hour / voyage direct) with an exxxxtra deep bassline, and another mix by echonomist (upon you / memento), delivering a supa grooovy dancefloor killer!

blue mondays is a project of alex ferrazzi and keemani. both vinyl collectors and involved within the italian underground scene from the beginning of the early 2000s, they grew up cultivating different backgrounds, alex was always into disco and old school house music while keemani was more into new wave and rock vibes. merging their backgrounds inside the studio, they come to you with a dance floor oriented sound spanning nu disco to techno, based on dope beats, smoked out samples, deep basslines, and uplifting vibes.

after their highly anticipated all cats are blue lp on memento, blue mondays release a sampler featuring the title track itself plus the exclusive i shine.

after the big hype around this misterious track, here we go with pastaboys vs. blue mondays - sexy!

shakedown 1979. grunge is back jack, and we dont even care as restless as we are. so, go smash a pumpkin, but don t let your neighbor catch you. they ve worked hard carving those scary faces. plus that s somebody elses masterpiece. this one is ours!

tfbm004 is a special joint venture release with rebirth records to release some stuff we really care about the orginal mix of stop featuring kaysand, now available on vinyl, a special 13 mins rework by our beloved swayzak, and a remix of right now by freaks vs robert owens that really could not stay any longer in our hard drives!
