starting from th pressing s first release, artist tominori hosoya has continued releasing his musics from labels such as deepartsounds and soiree records. he is resident in tokyo, and is the president of th pressing, which release a second vinyl finally. the 4 participating artists are, anaxander, who takes an active part in labels such as poker flat and local talk, the new and excellent producer john shima, who has released from ferox and boe, rai scott, who runs a label with brad peterson and also releases from other labels, and finally, the man of experience, rennie foster, who has continuously been releasing masterpieces from many labels such as subject detroit. the 4 artists have been handed over the concept“music dedicted to the important persons, things and memories” from the previous piece, and has created an emotional and atmospheric opus. vinyl only.

the second offering from no more to roam, comes from one half of 2deepsoul, rai scott. a 3 track ep of low slung, sultry beats. clarinet moods, the eps namesake, comes in two different cuts both with the clarinet skills of rai herself, the melody mix is real nod to the afterhours, subtle drums & a haunting clarinet lick, while the lazy dub a little more upbeat, still has that afterhours vibe, carried with the clarinet & simple percussions, closing things up here is move to the front built for the dancefloor, a rolling bassline & synth, layered over a rolling percussion makes up the final cut.

with this new four-track ep by rai scott the slowly emerging producer moves away from being the enigma that appeared on a split 12- with brad peterson that launched the inner shift imprint in 2012. and by the sounds on this ep, she s someone to be noticed. preceding her forthcoming debut on ornate, scott provides another four-track called reason to smile for inner shift music. it s the fifth release for the label this year and -we love you- certainly earns its place as the record s a1, sweet and meaningful deep house. -keep on- is a dubbed out, bassline driven tribal journey of drums and low-end rhythm completed by emotional chords that eventually takeover, while -cats and water- is on a funky, stripped-back and loopy 90s techno tip. and for some ambient fun that then turns house: -sky in the clouds- is a perfect b2. an exciting producer house communities worldwide should be talking about in the second half of this year.
