concept e25 is back! wax classic 15 sees concept e25’s third release on the label in the space of just a year! the demand has been overwhelming for more garage house hits with that added subtle, french flourish. we heard those cries, so here we have another slammin four track record from the man himself! the opening track of the ep, sing!, is destined for greatness this summer on dance floors everywhere. for me, this will be the go-to track of the record for most djs out there. on this track, concept e25 combines a pumping kerri style bassline with beautiful sustained chords, feel good vox cuts and the occasional sax line. proper hands-in-the-air vibes here! giving it takes the ep into a deeper realm, one that evokes images of late evening summer sunsets. however, the garage swing and signature concept e25 bass sound is still present. lies leads with moody chords before introducing a vocal that will be stuck in your head for a long time! again, we have a smooth sax line to accompany the vocal up to the track’s climax. rounding out this solid release is feel this way. here, the punchy bass hits are united with an acid line that bubbles underneath, before being unleashed halfway through the track in a warehouse-reminiscent burst of resonance.

for our 9th release, we give you the opportunity to grab 4 fantastic trax done by one of the best deep house producers in france right now: concept e25. they are a french producers duo (frederic boeuf & lionel cadix). their passion for electronic music was ignited in the early 90s when they discovered labels such as f communications and fnac. the pair both had strong musical backgrounds but only joined forces in 2009. since then they have continually been developing their sound and exploring new and diverse ways of making music together - with a burning proclivity for making good ol fashioned grooves - but not without a chic, modern twist - as noticed by pulse radio.net. coming after back to the source ep on seven music, garage sessions l is their 7th ep and is released by wax classics - a sub-label of the famous skylax records. garage sessions i continues their journey into the 90s underground house world, with 4 tracks featuring funky basslines, classic.

a stalwart of the uk underground & dance music scene, simbad’s music and dj skills have brought him to perform and record on all of the continents over the last decade. as a very sought after producer that still collaborates with the likes of fred p, deetron, roots manuva, lulu james, dayme arocena, mala (dmz), gilles peterson (six albums produced for gilles legendary brownswood label) to name a few, he’s been also remixing for countless other artists worldwide and has a vast array of releases on various imprints like apron, hyperdub, sofrito, bbe etc. “reconnect” remained a dubplate amongst a handful broken beat dj’s for years until simbad decided to release it on swedish brandy productions, a label that has been fairly constant in putting out timeless underground dance music since nearly two decades. remixes by the mighty boddhi sattva and concept e25 included.
