almost a year after his last outing, london-based vester koza is making a welcome return to the fray with a new ep entitled otr. featuring four atmospheric cuts, for the first time it finds him step away from his own maslo label to join houndstooth. fusing elements of dub, ambient and idm into moody sound worlds with you right at the centre, he has a subtle but seductive touch that has always marked him out. an on-going interest in security, technology and privacy characterizes his work, as does a passion for the vintage and modern gear he uses when producing. all of that is evident here in his most cerebral and conceptual release yet.

following on from 2013s original maslo series, vester koza returns with a new project, prisn. the titles of the tracks are in reference to/or adaptations of permissions/commands used by the apple and google android operating systems. the record was mastered by helmut erler at dubplates and mastering and comes with full colour printed lp cover featuring artwork by sarah hammond. prisn is released on may 4th via maslo.

vester koza recently debuted with 2 critically acclaimed eps earlier this year. the londoner has also been busy as a dj, producing mixes for the likes of bleed and performing at events such as unsound london. this single will round up a trio of 12 releases for 2013. the music has been mastered for vinyl by helmut erler at dubplates and mastering berlin

out of the blue follows the recent success of the self titled vester koza ep, which gained support from djs such as ben ufo, even tuell, lowtec, giles smith, efdemin, alland byallo, lee gamble, braiden, and madteo. his brand of deep house and techno was recently compared to both kassem mosse and levon vincent by juno, whilst resident advisor noted ìa confident artist employing a level of patience and discipline that rewards repeated listens. as with the first release, this sequel is made up from a batch of demo recordings that circualted late last year. the works were written and recorded by vester koza in east london and have been mastered by helmut erler at dubplates and mastering berlin.

vester koza will release his self titled ep on his new imprint maslo early 2013. the release features four tracks that brought him to the attention of workshops even tuell and lowtec, ben ufo, xdb, madteo, jane fitz and mitsuaki komamura with a batch of demo recordings that circulated late last year. comprised of four selected tracks written over a twelve month period in his east london studio, this debut ep is the first of a planned series on the label to be released this year. the works have been mastered by helmut erler at dubplates and mastering berlin.
