luv shack records 26th release marks the return of vienna based artist and label regular lesale. the baguette magique ep packs three punchy original tracks plus a remix by deep disco don and vienna resident roman rauch. first off, there s the original version of baguette magique , an uplifting dance opus carried by a tantalising disco sample, a plethora of bleeps and synthetic patterns, evolving into a cosmic, almost-techno piece in the second half. roman rauch s remix takes out the tempo and the quirkiness of baguette magique , instead opting for a laid back 80s tropical groove, turning the original theme into an insanely deep and obscure chord sequence. on the flip, lesale takes things to disco territory with percussive drums, a cheeky filtered sample and a hyperactive synth bass sequence on house rules . jungle breeze wraps up the release, offering a hazy mix of deep pads, tribal drums and oddball flute samples.

after the glorious debut we go straight ahead ep for luv shack last summer, a welcome return for lesale with his lesexe / symphony release. thumping drums and throbbing bass await prerequisite footwear in lesexe. and you better have a pair of some serious leather that can withstand a night heavy shuffling as lesale gets his boogie boots and swagger on. original gets tight and mighty with a groove that just demand you stomp up a floor or two in search of the booty. aroused and alluring vocals dampen all the right places and also set up for a long night of passion. the guy knows how to sex you up for sure!

complementing their eponymous party series, luv shack records have brought together a group of new and regular artists for their first *shack your body* compilation. with an array of nine choice cuts, this compilation offers just the right blend of laid back chuggers, disco stompers and more aggressive house tracks that have made their label nights so popular.

luv005 already and no doubt another classy four tracker that will top a few sales charts in the coming weeks and months. it has been a wonderful summer for the luv shack crew with every release bettering the last. the response and reaction to the new label has been astounding and beyond a pleasant surprise. with intelligent dance music such as this, it really shouldnt be such a surprise, but in a world of mass mediocre music, it does happen more often than not, that the good stuff doesnt always find its way. the guys though have found a place in a lot of hearts and quite a few tasty dj sets and record boxes with four very consistent releases. so, here we go with what is yet another worthy addition to any half decent djs repertoire me thinks. and it is lee stevens who teams up with local friends to deliver a very crafted set of aural niceness for your distinguished pleasure.
