buffered multiple is the techno a/v project of vienna electro poster boys microthol. buffered multiple return to pomelo after their debut on our 20 yrs compilation and subsequent eps on other imprints. buffer 05 starts off with prime time in super-saturated dub techno mode, its sublimely textured chords ambling hypnotically over a tense and pounding beat. shitty track changes gears into jack mode, with a bleepy morphing swing hook that drives up the intensity over a percussive beat and takes all the right cues from chicagos second wave productions. junolized delves deep into the abyss again, its expansive echoes weaving intricate layers of dub over a foundation of bottomless bass.

houston-based “gulf coast soul” band the suffers, led by the powerhouse vocals of kam franklin, is a contemporary version of classic r&b bands earth, wind & fire, kool & the gang, the commodores and others. their critically-acclaimed 2016 debut led to performances on late night with david letterman, the daily show and npr as well as high-profile placements such as queen sugar, honda and kit-kat tv spots. with the release of everything here, their most bold statement yet, the suffers are bound to further endear die-hard fans and make believers of new ones. the vinyl lp is housed in a gatefold sleeve with download code included.

grand ancestor’s eleventh release in the catalog features the legendary dub controller, ras muffet, of roots injection fame who’s had his tunes played by the likes of channel one, aba shanti, and jah shaka. with decades of dub experience, ras muffet dug deep into his vaults to produce two eerie dubs focused on the bottom frequencies and the continued evolution of the genre. steppers enthusiasts worldwide will be delighted to get this weighty 12” onto their turntables before this limited pressing is all gone.

amazing detroit techno

limited to 300 copies! following his recent releases on tartelet records and oye, uffe kicks off the nos classics label with a record consisting of three mutated disco tracks that marks the start of his own new copenhagen-based label. run together with fellow tartelet affiliates vktr and jeppe wolmer (of vivian international) the first records a-side is a dubbed out percussive testament to the darkest and saddest times of uffe s life. a2 is a melodic and dreamy homage to one certain apartement located on the lijnbaangracht in the jordaan area in amsterdam. on the top floor of this worn down old house there was light to be found in these dark times. on the flip-side tings gets trippy. the title track finds uffe deeply intertwined in an occult-like bass-heavy ritual. an attempt to escape reality and cure the scandinavian misanthropy and the grey weather it comes with. a twelve minute voodoo disco tool perfectly crafted for a dancefloor which most probably does not exist.

uffe is back with a two tracker that will set your pants on fire. the a side is a fresh take on pharaoh sanders 1974 cult classic love is everywhere an eleven-minute journey through broken piano melodies, layered vocals, partytime cowbell rhythms and heavy sub. the b side rytme version unfolds over eight minutes and is a dubbed out instrumental bomb of claps, hypnotic cowbells and added synth chords further building the suspense. peak time alert!

during the oye pop up store in copenhagen last year, delfonic & luds stayed at uffe s appartment over the weekend and played together the money $ex showcase. uffe played some edits he made and delfonic asked him what s up with those edits! and now its time for the next release of the oye edit series! enjoy!

straight pounding techno

viennese analog-wizards buffered multiple (also known for their electro-outlet microthol) deliver the followup to buffer 01 with three outstanding tracks of deep, mysterious and mesmerizing techno. mark 1.12. is the track that works well in the peaktime situation, while the b-side shows their extremely detailed production skillz and knowledge about the minimalistic but floating techno. besides their production skillz, the duo teams up for extended trippy vinyl-dj sets which demonstrate a level of knowledge in techno which is rare to find these days. efdemin is happy to welcome the two producers back on lirum larum.

straight outta vienna comes a fresh take on the deeper side of techno from two well known producers who team up here under the project name buffered multiple. buffer 01 is the first part in a series of two eps for the lirum larum imprint from berlin.

in 1972 lee scratch perry publicly declared his ambition to build a studio where the sufferers could record, by late 1973 the black ark was open for business. sound doctor documents scratchs recording of the sufferers as he and his black ark studio became the heartbeat of rasta and rebel culture in kingston: and the sufferers its flowing blood. another highlight in the pressure sounds series, as always best possible sound quality and very informative liner notes / track by track notes!
