introducing jesse james solomon with his debut ep jesse from se. weve been waiting for a release from this guy for a couple of years and now its finally here. you may remember the name from a couple of tunes with crave moore and rejjie snow that have been floating around online for a long while now, if you dont then todays a great day for you. this swift little ep is a great insight in to what jesse is about. his music is chilled out, his flow is super smooth and theres a nice little feature from rejjie in there too. hopefully this is the starting gun for a continuous stream of music from the south london rapper. the release of this ep has been a long time coming and its flicking all the right switches, so heres to hoping were not waiting too long for the next installment.
following on from his two previous excellent soul junction 45 releases jesse james returns with an exciting new vinyl only album >let me show you<.
the album is a potpourri of some previously unissued tracks blended with some of jesses more familiar tracks from his previous album releases. but with the subtle difference that these featured versions are the original takes recorded earlier using proper instruments rather than the later versions which featured synthesized backing tracks.
