colored vinyl. the productions of myk derill never missed the point. we are happy to welcome this underground techno leader with his chasing ep. huge support we have with remixes by florian meindl (owner of flash recordings) from berlin who delivered an amazing live remix. you can feel the modular hardware energy in this broken electro version. this vinyl is for the real heads. the b-side starts with no other than luca agnelli (owner of etruria) from italy who just released on big labels like soma and drumcode. we totally fall in love with his banging remix. the b2 is by kaputt co-owner caves who kills it with a hypermelodic hymn for the special moments on the floor. this is 100% kaputt. modern, stylisch and strictly limited. get this wicked 12inch vinyl.

counter pulse presents number 15 in it s limited vinyl series with a release by berlin artist myk derill, who delivers three tracks made up from his trademark sound of raw, futuristic atmospheres and heavily dubbed-out techno grooves. the title track -mess- also receives a superbly deep work-out by roberto from fachwerk. this will be a strictly vinyl only release for a while, with the digital versions appearing later in the year, but for now, full respect to the vinyl guys, you get to spin this first !

myk derill is one of the most interesting dub-techno artists. here he offers four great tracks of high quality and class. never hard but never soft. myk derill takes a turn for a more broken rhythm industrial looped with vocal.

the opening track on this double sided gynltd series comes from hironori takahashi. speclaz displays sharp panned cymbals and sonics, underpinned by a pulsey rhythm and modulated organesque synths. the takaaki itoh remix is a deeper and more moody affair, albeit with a similar syncopated rhythm structure and some tasty modulated acidic synth stabs with filtered atmospherics. on the flip-side, myk derill s crossroads takes a turn for a more broken industrial rhythm with looped vocal chants holding it all together before breaking down into a washed out synth breakdown, then returning to the pre-emnent fat rhythm and vocalised stabs. finally track 4 sees philippe petit remix, with the artist opting for a very stripped back 4-4 hi-hats/percussive workout underpinning minimalistic modulated synth and gentle bassy offsets. the most tooled-up track of this ep.

myk derill is back on knotweed! kw 013, the numbers e.p., is a four track adventure into myks immediately recognisable techno universe. he strips down his techno to the bare minimum and goes even darker than usual.

the latest drop from retrometro is not for the faint-hearted, as germanys myk derill brings the metal machine music. you are is a stomp and grind monster, with speaker-troubling kicks and torture chamber soundscapes. zerone is a brutal, relentless berlin warehouse workout, with deep reverbs, on-point percussion and a juicy roll on the low end. alert brings yet more of the factory floor pump, with its white noise build-ups and decayed percussion. and the caustic rhythms and haunting synths of between bring another dynamic to the ep! bruising!

the first release of 3rd starts with ad.lib and his driving and stripped down track yamato - a reduced arrangement of repeating patterns and evolving layers of sounds.

supported and played by: dvs1, brendon moeller, jeroen search, session restore, samuli kemppi, invite, anaxander, myles sergé, mary velo, arnaud le texier, patrick gil, opuswerk, kereni, gonzalo md.... the unison e.p. start with a pure techno banger, facial features: the heavy kick drum and synth pattern hit you where it hurts. myk then goes in more minimal territory with omage and see, both tracks making use of nice background repetitive voices, heavy basslines and dubby synths that remind you of late nights in berlin. the e.p. ends up with with synda, a peak time atmospheric dub experience that will not leave you indifferent.

myk derill (knotweed, reform, etc.) is one of the most interesting dub-techno artists! here he offers two great tracks of high quality and class. never hard but never soft. the release is completed by a fantastic remix signed by markus suckut (figure spc, sckt,etc.)his remix is a clear reference to the atmosphere of the past, with his usual class! another good step for fluxus records.

played and supported by norman nodge, samuli kemppi, inigo kennedy, samuel l session, colin dale, dvs1, developer, alan fitzpatrick, cassegrain, markus suckut, phil kieran, max_m and more. darkcell shows the new release on vinyl, just the third for his own label. his style is clearly defined. one track signed by the labels owner, and others two tracks signed myk derill (reform, knotweed, etc). darkcell transmitted in its track an atmosphere of modern techno. a slow techno rhythm, repetitive with something of psychedelic. a sort of brainwashing that will lead to total body hypnosis. the two tracks by myk derill are the same style. the first track (apply) is definitely very rough with a syncopated rhythm . the second (contemporary) is much more in the direction of dub-techno. only high quality in the fluxus records vinyl.

for our second release, i am very glad to welcome on board myk derill! myk comes from berlin, germany. he already has several releases under his belt. he creates a very dark techno, without any concessions, influenced by the current sounds of the techno underground i love.

gynoid ltd does it again! this time its a track produced exclusively on analogue gear by coeter one, and a relentless myk derill remix, who seems to turn everything into solid gold lately.the original 72 is all about the groove.
