samurai musics foreign exchange series continues with representatives from russia and the uk. eastcolors is our chosen russian representative. he has recently had huge success with his collaborations with enei, most notably with >cracker< on critical records. >acidized< is a low slung sub heavy treat that rolls a grinding acid line over a bouncing groove. foreign concept & dbr uk hail from brighton & luton in the uk respectively, and have been setting the scene alight with their unique approach to drum and bass. >radiation< has been a highlight of many djs sets with its signifying ragga vocal and gigantic bassline.

dbr uk are a luton collective who produce underground drum & bass made from the soul and have recently launched their label broken audio. we at ingredients have been a fan of their music for a while, and were lucky to snap up these two tracks. >dirty passive< has haunting strings, clean breaks & awesome bass pressure, reminiscent of commix, while >magnesium< is sluggish, smokey and hypnotic. ideal for late night listens and deeper than the ocean!
