hefty remix package of “carbone master system” lp pressed on gold-coloured vinyl. veterans and contemporary artists such as and, ascion, cj bolland, hypnoskull, and umwelt have reshaped five different tracks of the infamous album.

d. carbone’s first album “carbone master system” is a collection of powerful techno tracks incorporating elements of rawness, acidity, and melancholy at the focus of his intent. bringing together the feeling and the passion that the sega master system brought to him in his youth. time was lost mesmerized by technology and excitement for the quest of the unknown.

repitch’s latest releases is a full-on acid assault, a distorted analog techno speedwagon driven by label co-founder d.carbone along with panzerkreuz affiliate and rave veteran albert van abbe. side a is composed of two tracks produced by van abbe and paul van ghent under the guise of his most unapologetic acid project penik etteck. recorded between 1998 and 2000, it is a duo of incendiary bangers made for no other purpose than pumping energy into the rave. on the flip side, van abbe’s youngest project datasmok sides with d.carbone for two more tracks ripe with acid basslines, heavily distorted drums, and noisy drones, speeding up the tempo on the first one and slowing it down on the second in order to explore the many dynamic possibilities of raving.

carbone records has been created as a platform for d. carbone’s own powerful productions and for new collaborative projects. carbon as an element represents darkness and energy which represents the concept and the sound of the label. the aim is to focus on a no compromise, raw, acid techno sound of the 90’s.

d carbone returns to the prruk imprint with a strong 12 called acid futurism. the name says it all. fresh acid sounds without going too retro. psych techno sound with strong syncopated rhythms. something for the more intense dancefloor moments, a definite bomb.

features series start from here, the first of all, open repitch. the rebirth of the well-known fusion ascion and d. carbone. a unique sound suitable for the club and listening. irradial is a industrial-hybrid. walker smells like oldschool but totally redesigned. glare is an endless trip. mike parker version of walker takes you over, hypnotic. the name features come from the surrealistic artworks that will accompany us throughout the series. these mix the physical traits of the artists face with others, a face that looks like a distorted view of someone in our thoughts with features not well defined. to collect.

we meet a new project, cool, and damn techno. design concept and sounds that rather than being projected towards europe, appear to come from europe, more precisely from somewhere dark and cold in the north of the continent. but no! the minds that conceived the project are all italian and lie along a line connecting cities like palermo and naples, at least for the moment. because as you might expect from the country s brain drain ... the releases, starting with the first (which will appear in the catalog as 000), will be all vinyl.

italy hot hands duo of ascion and d.carbone join the tora ranks. two cuts switchout and panzer are full on attacks of bass and energy. tony rohr lends his hands while crafting a long full sided remix.

spectrum recordings returns after the summer months with a fantastic deep dark two tracker to take us into those shorter nights of the year from italian duo ascion & davide carbone. the a side >shaved< is a stripped down dubby groover, with eerie vocal stabs and spacey edits. this has a seriously tripped out vibe, which is perfect for the after hours, but still with more then enough punch to work at peak time, with some layered percussion or effects. the flip side >spectral town< is a minimal funky track, superbly produced and once again perfect for the after hours. a very cool and classy record from a label stamping its mark on the scene, and still only in its first year of releasing music. look out for future releases from ramon tapia, gui boratto and alan fitzpatrick. big things to come!

techno culturae records launches its first lp and debuts in the world of vinyl with a really hard release. composed of an original mix, by indeck and three remixes, d. carbone, electrorites and warind. dark sounds distinguish this output which represents a real introspection of the dark soul of the artists, where the distorted sounds of the drums and the properly saturated lead / pads, emphasize the frequencies, standing out in a basically hard techno mix that is really interesting. they follow the metrics in a very precise way with different pauses and restarts typical of a sound that is not monotonous, but hard and motivating.

hustler muzik is a new label of electronic music that comes from the idea of two young italian dj producer, astin and d. napolitano. born from the desire to put on the market, only good music, giving visibility to new talent, covering the market for vinyl. his style is a mix of modern sounds and old school, a style full of items techno, minimal and house which is contained in a unique and original sound!

loco & jam are northern irish based techno duo, lloyd reid and james peoples. now its time for their brand new ep on marco baileys mb elektronics label. >roundhouse< builds up slow with a nice deep bass but turns into a big room techno track before you know it! the second track is a splendid remix of >roundhouse< by ascion & d. carbone. what the funk! this track has such a nice groove and will fit in a variety of record-bags. on the b-side you will find the uplifting track >3d symphony<. this track will surprise you again and again: so many things are happening here. peak time slamming techno destroyer!
