the fourth installment in the legwork records saga sees label heads lance desardi & leopold come together under the artist moniker legwork. for their first outing under the name they start with buck shot, a techno-soul chugger featuring a remix by the futurist himself, matrixxman. on the flip, the boys go in for a straight-ahead killer with mean 2 me and a more musical version of the same tune, key 2 me.

the 3rd outing from legwork comes from one of our label heads in lance desardi and singer/song writter jesse rennix. this ones been a long time in the making, but the final product is well worth the blood, sweat and tears. with a heavy nod to prescription records and the 1st & 2nd wave detriot pioneers, emotion is the order of the day. not much else to say, other than see for yourself. the heavens await

london based us producer lance de sardi joins the hudd traxx fray for the last 12inch before the label hits 50 releases and commence the 10th anniversary celebrations. although there s only three cuts on west country, de sardi more than shows his diversity as a producer and it s a fine addition to a discography that dates back to the 90s.pariah kicks the ep off in fine style with smooth beats, an infectious vocal and lush pads ensure that this will be a big one for the heads. flip for the b side and find a tough acidy number in youth, and a groovy track in race the clock which is made for the dance floor. 2015 is already proving to be a big year for hudd traxx following releases from iron curtis & nachtbraker, and lance de sardi keeps the flag flying high with this solid ep.

back with a bang, our old friend lance desardi goes back to his early deep house roots to bring us expressions ep. the bang the box label boss (with partner brett johnson) is known for his classic deep house sound, deeply rooted in proper american house. releases on seasons, classic & om to name but a few. hes also collaborated with jt donaldson (as undercover agency) & fred everything to name but a few. a short escapade in his live experience under the land shark disguise and mr desardi is back,ready to show us how its done with an ep that borrows from the past, present and future.

can we do more? we are very happy to welcome back one of the guys that started it all with us in the late 90s and after some time away working on other forms of music lance desardi is back with us in full force! releasing with seasons recordings in the late 90s working under the artist name lance nuance with projects >leaving the city< & >pieces unfold<. also working along side his long time friend jt donaldson as they worked under undercover agency and released an lp titled >paper love< on the seasons recordings imprint. ld is back and get ready for this single to break dance floors in half!

legworks 2nd single comes from another one of our texas compatriates, the indelible brett johnson, fresh off some amazing work on classic, get physical, rawax and other killer imprints. the mission harks back to some of our favourite dub-techno moments, but keeps its own flare with bretts signature robo-rhythms and chopped and screwed vocal cuts. on the remix tip, its label head lance desardi & convextion bringing their own flavour to the table respectively, with lance stepping to the chord memory, deep bass, and over sampled drums, and convextion going all the way out into hyper space with his usual sub-aquatic space funk.

asiko disko - jt uses classic drum machines, sneaky acid lines and a mike dunn-esqe vocal to create this underground gem.
gaia - this track is sure to be a dj favorite. pounding tribal rhythms, hypnotic chants and an arrangement demanding to stay in the mix. this is a dj weapon.
asiko disko (dave aju remix) - having been a fan of dave aju for a while we thought it would be a hoot to get a remix from him. the result is a slow burning, shimmering remix that takes the original and shoots into space.
gaia (lance desardi remix) - our main man lance desardi turns in a electric remix. taking the original and delving into darker territory. new sonic creatures rotate around deep bass tones, hypnotic chants and new directions.
