with previous releases on influential labels hotflush, aus and hypercolour, george fitzgerald has joined a new home, signing to domino offshoot double six. kicking off his inauguration is new single i can tell (by the way you move), a house cut which set the 7.000+ strong crowd at ushuaia in ibiza moving last week as he went back to back with radio 1s pete tong, a relationship that kicked off earlier this year with georges radio 1 essential mix.

following acclaimed excursions on hypercolour (needs you ep) and will sauls aus music (child ep) last year, george fitzgerald has returned to his hotflush home for the first time since 2011. premiering in fitzgeralds debut radio 1 essential mix last month as part of the 2013s future stars series, thinking of you is now set for full physical release complete with the equally compelling nighttide lover on the flip.

london producer george fitzgerald follows up silhouette, his 2011 debut on will sauls imprint aus music with a four track ep entitled child. with past releases on hotflush and his own imprint, manmakemusic, his productions combine the lush, melodic sides of house and garage with the more intense, jacking rhythms of dubstep and techno. his second ep for aus fully explores the 4/4 end of his production spectrum to devastating effect with four tracks that are all designed with the peak time dance floor in mind. keep your ears peeled for a remix ep of child in september featuring a mix of child by gerd under his jacking geeeman alias, alongside exciting young talent gerry reads interpretation of lights out. next up on aus is an ep from bicep with a remix from panoramabar resident steffi.

hotflush presents the third single from george fitzgerald: shackled. having already dropped two excellent eps for aus and man make music this year, george returns on hotflush two with three tracks embodying the style he has matured over the last two years. using a sonic palette that melts the emotive flavors of uk garage & soulful house into a slower amalgam of dubstep and techno, this emerging london producer offers his own suave and enticing blend of bass music. >shackled< has already made a distinct impression as a standout track on scubas dj kicks mix compilation released in october.

manmakemusic first made their name running a series of eponymous parties in londons east end which showcased the best of lowend heavy electronic music. given that the collective contained within their ranks a number of budding producers, the step over to label territory was always on the cards. george fitzgerald, who heads up the label, was behind the crews first mysterious release earlier this year, a refix of groove theorys >tell me< that sold-out within a matter of days. manmakemusic are now back for more, beginning the label series in earnest with some original material from george that sums up what these guys have been about from the beginning: real-deal dance music that tracks the borderlines of house, garage and techno. georges releases on hotflush and aus this year have consolidated his reputation as one of a small set of producers from london whose tracks translate in to dancefloor capital outside of british borders. this record travels deeper in to the territory of housedubstep cross-pollination than georges previous excursions. a-side >fernweh< is an intricate work of ecstatic synths tempered with a rock solid groove that betrays georges uk sensibilities. on the flip, >hearts< ramps up the energy levels with tough percussion and the trademark fitzgerald vocal wizardry.

following his two recent singles on scubas hotflush recordings, london based george fitzgerald is back with his much-anticipated third release and his debut for aus music. titled silhouette, the three-track ep includes two originals and a remix from american producer john roberts. fitzgerald once again manages to create a world in which garage, dubstep, house, r&b and a host of other musical influences happily co-exist. on silhouette hints of warm acid, layered oscillating synth lines, propulsive beats and fitzgeralds signature use of vocal samples make this a peak time affair, albeit an incredibly lush one. reset is eight minutes of forward thinking uk garage combined with the melodic sensibilities of detroit techno. for the silhouette remix, roberts develops a relentless broken groove, occasionally punctured by brief piano interludes that recall the sounds of his 2011 debut full-length on dial records, glass eights. a breathtaking remix that sounds like nothing else out there at the moment. in addition to silhouette, fitzgerald currently has remixes out for french house producer brawther on secretsundaze and uk bass artist throwing snow, as well as an upcoming ep on hotflush and a track on the labels recent compilation, back and 4th. this year will also bring the founding of man make music, a new label fitzgerald is starting with friends.
