havantepe from istanbul is back with his second record on 200 records! he delivers two strong epic, deep and dubby tracks: s.i.l.a. and guidance. moreon & baffa from venezuela, now living in barcelona, visited us last summer in cologne for a club night. we were very happy that they offered us a remix for a next release. their and havantepe’s music are are perfect match and the tracks together represent the typical 200 sound as well as their styles

a second release for verdant recordings and another deftly curated collection of deep vibes for the heads. a thread of deep and dubby acid runs throughout with havantepe opening and appearing alongside the mysterious rv800 (the two last joined forces on the subsync ep from japan s formula). a bubbling acid track and first vinyl release from russia s low orbit satellite maybe the pick of the four here? or perhaps the trippy closing work from mick welch? sophie o leary provides another colour study for the ep s artwork.

havantepe s t.a.o.s.a. ep is the first vinyl release on grounded in humanity s sublabel alienus. expect 4 deep techno tracks with his dubby high quality trademark sound we love him for. this is part 1.... expect some more.

while their sporadic appearance remains a frustration, it s hard to find fault with boe recordings halal prepared series of eps. this third installment of the series, which lands 12 months after it s predecessor, contains another quarter of high quality deep house jams. the real highlights - to our ears, at least - are the two tracks that doff a cap to classic detroit techno, whilst keeping their feet firmly rooted in deep house. both -star struck- by chicago deep and havantepe s -plane waves- capture the retro-futurist spirit and stargazing electronics associated with the motor city perfectly. elsewhere, keep an eye out for taelue s -desolate dreams-, which offers a bittersweet trip into ultra-deep house territory.

echogarden is the place to be for everyone whose heart beats for dub techno. its the place where dub meets deep, where the air is filled with echo and where chords and atmospheric sounds intermingle. for our annual and third echogarden compilation we asked for your contributions and once again your participation was overwhelming! we have been thrilled!! thank you so much!! we received over 80 great tracks from artists all over the world and we enjoyed listening to all these tracks. it wasnt easy to decide which tracks to choose and which will find its place on the compilation. for a fair selection process we didnt watch out for names and popularity but listened to all tracks with closed eyes. finally we came up with 22 tracks, available on 2 cds. we hope you love this dub techno selection as much as we do!
