coyu is working on his highly anticipated debut album it will explain a story, my story attests the big cat. it s the first chapter of this story and the debut single of the album is 1+1, a track made in collaborating with thomas gandey a perfect summer track, powerful but addictive and catchy. in coyu s own words 1+1 it s me and my girlfriend, me and my mother, me and my team, suara and me, my music and me, the world and me. because without the people you love and all that you love you are nothing. 1 + 1 is a claim to love and be loved, to embrace sensibilities, to create synergies and teamwork. but also, it is the communion of my two great passions: techno and house music. nine minutes of linear and heavy groove that melts with the notes of an emotional piano. it s a track that i m deeply proud of, i am pretty sure that in 10 years from now i will continue to enjoy it like i did the first day it was finished and after a year and a half i can now say that it is just as much mine as it is yours. because you and me are also 1+1. for the remixes probably we have the greatest pack ever on the label: gerd janson delivered an amazing interpretation of the track: truncate takes the track down to raw techno, less is more. last but not least we have the introspective trip of cosmin trg which completes one of the releases of the year on the kitties labe

the first original work between coyu & bastian bux after their remix for the ground is here . it is with great excitement we present their serendib ep.

coyu and ramiro lopez are regular production partners, having released a number of tracks on coyus own suara in the past, as well as john digweed s esteemed bedrock records. this latest track on drumcode further adds to their reputation as a force to be reckoned with. clap your hands allows the pair to display their talent for harder- edged techno. pounding drums, metallic rattling, a tension-filled breakdown and the eponymous distorted vocal sample help to ensure the track fits in perfectly with drumcode s high-quality repertoire. made with the dancefloor in mind, coyu debuted clap your hands during his set at valencias marenostrum festival, where it received a spectacular reception.

the first remix is signed by one of the biggest legends of the electronic scene: the mighty john digweed, together with his studio partner nick muir, did a proggy-tech trip with tons of epic vibes.
gabriel ananda has turned the original into a more electronic, sophisticated and special track.
last but not least, coyu did a dub edit from his original cut, focusing the leadership of the track in the bassline instead of the melodies. great names for an amazing package!

it s been a long, long time since coyu produced an ep full of original tracks for his beloved kitty label. september of 2013 was the last party groovers from him. through all these months our mastercat has released several eps on cocoon recordings, snatch! records, noir music, bedrock records and some edits and original tracks with ramiro lopez and edu imbernon that have been released on suara. finally, we have our mastercat alone with two oustanding cuts. in my mind is a dark techno track with a break that it will literally blow your head up... balls , however, is a very housey and summery cut that will definetely break your hips because of the instantly recognisable vocals and the killer darbuka rhythm. enjoy this is 100% coyu!
