once again, erol alkan and boys noize have teamed up, for what has become a stunning re-imagining of last years smash single >avalanche<. determined to avoid a taking an obvious route, the pair originally intended to commision a spoken word interpretation - the natural choice was the melifluous jarvis cocker. on the remix tip the duo enlist the maestro himself ewan pearson, who supplies the deeper underground re-version, that reroutes proceedings to dubbed out berlin basement afterhours to stunning effect. not to be out done, hot talent canblaster interprets the original as a low-slung bleeptastic old-school electro workout that rounds the package off in glorious style.

limited to 500 copies! hot on the heels of this years maxi single, erol alkan and boys noize proudly present the stunning chilly gonzales piano rework of waves. the legendary entertainist has been a long time friend of alkans (he was also the only performer to play his london niteclub trash 3 times during its decade long existence) and has currently been putting the finishing touches to his boys noize produced next album, set for release next year. released november 23rd on an extremely limited edition 10 inch of 500, the piano rework comes backed with a spoken word episode from chilly explaining how one would translate a club banger into something your grandfather could get with! fresh off his guinness world record performance (27 hours, 3 minutes and 44 seconds), chilly will also be appearing at a londons la pigalle as part of a residency every wednesday throughout november for a series of piano talk shows, each featuring a cameo appearance from friends.
