santorini comes back on out-er with a superb release! this ep is deeply oriented to house with broken beats patterns and techno infuences. the tracks are truly inspired from uk sounds, always preserving a dancefloor attitude thanks to their grooves and arrangements. they come from santorinis solid dance attitude. his renowned ability to combine concrete and abstract together brings this ep to be on the top of santorinis productions.

after the excellent eternal jazz ep by simone gatto and argenis brito italys the flame recordings, distributed by the bastion of quality output that is diamonds & pearls distribution, returns with the scirocco ep by santorini. otherwise known as andrea santoro, santorini has clocked up releases for upon you and little helpers in recent months and as a result has established considerable support for his unhurried, modern deep house.

to remain a discerning platform for underground artists with integrity is easier said than done in todays music market. alphahouse vows never to forget its roots in the afterhours basements from whence it came. in that spirit, we would like to welcome two up-and-coming italians to the family with release number twenty. good friends alessandro stefanio aka buck, and andrea santoro aka santorini, both from puglia, proudly represent the new school of deep thinking producers from a country not generally known for such restraint. if you have been following santorini or bucks output of late, you will know that italy is more than just the land of shuffled techno.. there is a deeper music movement in the country, and these guys are two of the best.

santorini, real name andrea santoro, has delivered material to the likes of upon you, district raw and little helpers in recent years and has won over many djs and floors with his intricately rhythmic house grooves. after remixing paul bowen for lr005, the 26 year old italian was invited to contribute his own single and the >supersoul ep<, comprising two original cuts and a lazy dub from bearweasel, is the result.

third release for fabio giannellis label, this time from the italian santorini, that proposes his next strike after having released eps on labels like upon you, bond and his own recycle records. to complete the release there are two very good remixes from uner & coyu (dyinamic, great stuff) and ues (resopal / blabla). have a good listen!

heavy play from dj sneak, danny tenaglia, dubfire, danilo vigorito! the third 12 release on exprezoo is by another of our flagship artists, the same santorini everyone has already begun to appreciate thanks to his recent releases on bond, recycle and loudbit, whose style is perfectly in key with our idea of deep house:

our man from italy hits base again! he was the first house-agent that weÆve send out on a pure digital upon you mission. he mastered it with such bravory that our headquater see it worthwhile to hit session two on vinyl. in phase a1 he successfully recovered a hole row of bad house replicates under the code name ôshadittzö to bring back the good taste. ôback from the middleö is the motto in phase a2, essentially contributing the bust of a few lousy tech-house bosses that where about to sell scuzzy loops to minors. his work was very useful for us and an easy seizing for mr. superbrain tolga fidan who could complete the mission as our remix profiler.

for release #2 the joyfull family grows once again - it s marcin czubala who adds his trademark skills to their roster for even more joy!

kinfolk returns after a long hiatus with an outstanding release from the mighty mind fair donning their newly invented sundown drive hats. sunset over santorini is a sonic brew of percussion, guitars, jazz-funk keys and heavenly vox that s all kept together with a driving shuffle that brings to mind the more experimental leftfield disco sounds of 70 s nyc and beyond. on the flip dan nad tyler delivers a wacked-out remix monster that takes it deep into a norwegian via homerton disco-dub-not disco-dub vortex of truly epic proportions that will twist your body, mind & soul as it ventures in and out of the groove laden original.
