the prolific eatbrain are back once again, with italian producer dabs returning to their embracing fold following his 2014 release with them. having releasing on labels like dispatch, avantgarde, and horizons, dabs is no stranger to the hard hitting, ultra-modern machine funk sound peddled by the eatbrain collective.

stentah : since proving a fine collaborative duo in their last horizons music release, dabs and mc kwality return with a doubly as powerful effort. stentah is ruthless to say the least, kwalitys aggressive, yet controlled delivery is complemented by dabs huge, kick drum driven groove. junglistic at its core and massively original.
half truth : smooth yet edgy, ethereal yet raw, half truth is one of those tunes that combines all the elements. a repeating piano sample delivers a constant harmony whilst the faultless beat cuts a passage through the ambience. a throbbing sub provides a resonant, yet tamed bassline that seamlessly pulses underneath the ample body of sonic elements.

since early 2010, rotterdam based blendits have been injecting their hometown with monthly bass driven club nights featuring some of the hottest quality drum & bass/dubstep artists out there. the autumn of 2013 brings another dimension to their imprint in the form of the blendits audio record label. with an aim to release deep but musical sounds on digital and physical format they succeed to come out strong with this debut release.

stray gets all jungle juke for the a-side that has been getting battered across festival land this summer. frantic hi-hats, stuttering kicks and pounding 808 bass have made this a crowd favourite – if dubplates still existed they would have been worn out to see-through by now.
sam bings brings a more carnival atmosphere to proceedings – kwalitys patois vocals are chopped up, pitched up and down and take centre stage while the energetic drum loops and perc keep bodies moving and heads nodding. serious riddims here, ya dig?

horizons 67 is a treat for all lovers of quality, in depth drum & bass music, and comes courtesy of italian bass junkie dabs. his funky, driven d&b has found acclaim across the world, from his native land, throughout europe, and over to the us and australia. releases on dispatch, citrus and horizons have secured him regular bookings right across the drum & bass universe. since first releasing in 2007, dabs has established his name at the forefront of the new skool, teaming up on many occasions with the likes of cern, ant tc1 and cause4concern. it is safe to say that dabs is surefire hot right now, and this comes across in spades on his new 12 inch for horizons.

the second episode of the brand new avantgarde label sees the label co-owner himself dabs, joining forces with the melbourne based producer safire and the legendary mc lowqui.hideout is a stomper. minimal noisy hits grab you into a ultra-catchy riff bassline, carried on by punchy drumlines and big percussions stabs. heavily supported by the likes of icicle, ant tc1, optiv & btk, heavy1. flipside is frome the bulgarian promise l 33, we are pretty sure you are going to hear big things from him in the near future. complex things is ultraminimal and dark, with great identity and interesting snares and crunchy hits. definately reckonizable everytime after the first listening!

another excellent deep rolling release by dabs. of course the usual roaring bassline is sounding thicker than ever. those occasional vocal cuts are perfectly placed. excellent syndrome affair by dabs.

once again horizons serve up a diverse and truly global flavour with this incredible double a side release with dabs linking up with horizons artists amoss and june miller. with both tunes having been throughly put through their paces in the clubs by many of the scenes top djs (to devastating effect!) we are proud to finally bring you the finished product.

dispatch are chuffed to present a truly international 12 inch with 3 producers cross-collaborating worldwide to present this powerful bass heavy release. we start on the a-side with arguably new zealands finest export cern collaborating with wonder kid dabs hailing from italy, they both provide some real dance floor power in the form of >oh the horror<. dabs then works his way back over to the other side of the globe australia bound to work alongside rising talent safire! they both bring us a modern day roll-out >back and forth< on the flip… to make this story even more hard to explain the 2 tracks ended up on a uk based label however as far as we saw it the instant we heard these 2 tracks we had to make sure dispatch would become their home.

during the years modulate recordings has moved from strength to strength and now she picks up the pace with another piece of italian dnb history. this double a sided 12 inch showcases the work of our most acclaimed rome based producers aeph, dabs and maztek from subculture who recently signed for renegade hardware. madbox is a blend of razor sharp beats, rumbling synths and 80s retro arpeggios with an amazing dubstep breakdown that will simply blow the dancefloor off. floating is a relentless techy tune made with mazteks unmistakable style and top-notch quality, showcased on state of minds >next level< podcast 001. all in all, this double single is awesome and these guys are a force to be reckoned with.. check it!

brainiac kicks off with a dark and foreboding intro, then crashes into a powerful, rough and ready roller. menacing punchy beats, obscene chest thumping basslines and plenty of clever edits, guarantees this tune to maintain high energy levels in any club. this track can only described as absolutely devastating! the reverse side opens with a tense synthline that drops into fully charged neurofunk. although this track is more down tempo track, its sub warbling basslines, complimented by rattling percussion and steppy breaks, means legacy is sure to get the dancefloor swaggering.

once again, the storming american label, icarus audio brings forth quality over quanity with the third release on the imprint. the a side features dabs & wrath hitting you with a purely infectious, funky roller that slides the shove in all the right ways. the vocal sample sits deep while the bass speaks, add that to a two step stomp and you ve got a floor formula executed with fine precision. dj supported by several heavy hitters and featured in mazteks mix in knowledge magazine, you can be sure this tune is ready to start a revolution!!

on the a side dabs & cain mos start things off in style, with a superb piece of liquid dnb wax named >starchaser<. lush vocals and smooth pads evolve throughout the intro, before the drop comes with a wave of addictive bass funk. once the melody is in your head you can be sure its not going anywhere, some seriously addictive liquid vibes on this one.
incident and subz step up on the flip to bring some deep vibes to the aa side, and once this tune gets into your record box it will probably never leave!
a progressive intro starts proceedings while rolling drums carry along and the pads build the atmosphere. once it drops a low sub kicks in and the carefully selected vocal and musical sounds, will have you drifting away to another place entirely. deep liquid dnb at its very best.

ultima c has been voted czech d&b producer of the year 2008 and delivers a very natural energy in his tracks with a lot of athmosphere.

blendits audio reflections vol. 1 brings together the labels best tracks released over a period of 2 years. since its inception during the autumn of 2013 blendits audio has been a steady force providing the underground drum & bass scene with deep but musical beats, aimed for the dancefloor. head honcho chris harmonics has proven to posses a keen ear for finding the right tracks by established and upcoming artists that blend the rough with the smooth. the vinyl package includes tracks by hydro, dabs, eastcolors, bredren and philth. the digital version of this release will feature tracks by soligen & type 2, mystic state, mtwn and impish as well. over the first 10 releases blendits have broadcast their sentiments with crisp clarity, we look forward to hearing more.

part 2 vinyl: at dispatch we gladly welcome the collaboration of 2 guys who we have had our eyes on for a while, we think the pairing of amoss seem to get better with every tune and are glad we have nailed what we feel is a brilliant 4 track ep from them. we are not the only ones who love the tracks, all 4 are picking up support day by day from the likes of nymfo, kasra, survival, doc scott, octane & dlr, skeptical, dub phizix, ant tc1, total science, zero t & xtrah, need for mirrors, dj storm, ebk, dj flight & safire to name a few.

as an amazing piece of work, there is no surprise that the tune could inspire some other great artists. for this one, both big deep d&b heads cern & dabs, the italian growing talent, decided to gather their efforts in order to revise the original. and something did happen.
