as benedikt rugar s superbly illustrated cover art for the recent cocktail d amore compilation nothing matters when we re dancing proved, the berlin collective proudly celebrate their status as a forum for berlin s gay community to fully express themselves. with no releases on the label since that compilation arrived in january, discodromo and dj boris have now unveiled a sister operation with a focus on edits under the wonderful name cockring d amore. the debut release features contributions from label regular massimiliano pagliara, the unheralded trent and founders discodromo.

news von der 80ies kultband indoor life. compost veröffentlichte 2012 den gesamten indoor life-katalog als doppel-cd, und hier kommt nun ein abgefahrenes, krautiges remix-package. die remixe stammen vom angesagten berliner dj- und produzenten-duo discodromo, die mit ihren cocktail d’amore-parties, zusammen mit berghain-resident dj boris, für derbe furore sorgen. 2014 lieferten sie auch ein fantastisches boiler room set ab. sie veröffentlichten bereits auf prins thomas’ internasjonal, bpitch control, dissident und natürlich auf ihrem eigenen cocktail d’amore music label.

the anonymous man power makes his debut on throne of blood with the labels first release in 2015. closely affiliated with jennifer cardinis correspondant records, hes been making waves across the underground over the past couple years with remixes and releases on labels including hivern discs, eskimo records, ene, infiné, rothmans, and is it balearic? with a debut lp in the can for correspondant and 12inches due on voyeurhythm, renate schalplatten, and discos capablanca, this unknown producer and dj is definitely one to keep an eye on in 2015.

this compilation is in celebration of our berlin party cocktail damore, which we started with boris five years ago along with visual direction by pindar (goldnsour). what began as a gay monthly, focused on bringing quality music into the alternative culture of berlin, has grown to be host to a diverse range of open minded freaks, queers and more seeking a carefree atmosphere. the music we have compiled is a reflection of the variety of sounds our guests expect from the unique cocktail experience. the 3x12 inch vinyl comes in discodromo triple gatefold sleeve including poster and donwload code to redeem audio hi-res files.
