>the musical styles on moon harbour inhouse vol. 4< range from the deep house of luna city express and ekkohaus to the reduced groovy tech house á la tini & marc antona, andy catana and boris werner and the floor fillers by reboot and dan drastic. in this sense the selection of tracks mirrors the current breadth of styles represented by the label in its 12th year. since the third inhouse compilation, a lot has happened at moon harbour. in addition to the releases of the albums hello from planet earth by luna city express (2009) and paradigm shift by martinez (2010), the tenth anniversary of the label was celebrated with gusto in 2010 complete with the compilation and club tour, ten years of moon harbour. the year 2010 also marked the birth of the monthly moon harbour radio show. luna city express and dan drastic have been taking turns producing this show, which has already had more than 25 editions.

since slice of life, his last ep release on moon harbour, dan drastic has been anything but idle.hes released on luna records and rrygular and contributed several tracks to the moon harbour compilations ten years of moonharbour and moon harbour joints vol. 2. since october 2011 he has been taking turns with luna city express at hosting the moon harbour radio show and is still an essential part of the moon harbour labelflights at the leipzig distillery. he is ringing in 2012 with an eclectic ep. the title track,noodle stories,as well as the track lospollos hermanos,are perfect for the time between warmup and peak in the club: they are deep but have more thanenough energy to get the dance floor moving. martin buttrich takes a more minimal approach in his remix ofnoodle stories,transforming the track into a subtle techhouse stomper.with fish fingers and custard, dandrastic shows his rave side. the groove of the track is dense and driving and reaches its climax through an utterlyeffective chord sequence. free download voucher for all vinyl tracks incl. in the first 500 copies!

the second release on the fledgling luna records label sees germanys dan drastic set forth with the killer >behind a green door<, backed up with stellar remixes from matthias tanzmann and chris lattner.

dan is a german producer and dj with impeccable taste. previous output for highgrade has been superb and he has some amazing stuff due to drop on moon harbour (where he takes care of promotions in fine style) so hairy claw have handpicked him for the first release of 2008. deep, groovy and with just the right amount of drive, xibeca is a mordern house cut of the highest order. supernature and tsuba artists bearweasel take the techier elements of dans original and twist them into a flowing techhouse cut too - so theres something for the heavier crowds too. there are big things afoot with hairy claw, we ll keep you posted.

the 75th ep on moon harbour is one that connects the past with the present: the release is made up of three remixes and re-edits of classic tracks by label boss matthias tanzmann. charged with serving up these goods are one third of apollonia, namely frenchman shonky, saved records boss nic fanciulli and his brother mark and, finally, matthias himself updates one of his own cuts.
