spearhead records have been putting out some amazing music this year and this release is no exception. estonian trio mutated forms team up with s.i.n to produce this slice of modern day dancefloor. the a side leans slightly more towards the more mellow side of drum and bass where as the aa really goes in deep hitting some ridiculously low frequencies.

following collaborations with netsky and jenna g in 2010, mutated forms switch things up and return with two of the most exciting, genre splicing tracks of their career, which will appeal to bass heads from all corners of the dance music spectrum.

?coppers? begins with a pulsating four to the floor build up overlaid with a menacing us gangster film sample. this gives way to a drop which would smash the door off any rave, anywhere. grimey. ?metal ringer? is a slightly more experimental jump up beast. the steppy beat combines with a growling bassline which switches up through the track between a low down dirty rumble and high pitched synth wobbler. music to bang walls to.

mutated forms return to allsorts with their finest hour to date as they step up a gear and produce a truly amazing debut ep. again proving their versatility they turn their attention to the calmer end of the drum and bass spectrum with four tracks which ooze soul and emotion.
