roberto rodriguez is a helsinki-based dj, producer, radio host and music director. having started making music at the age of 12 in 1987 and starting to dj a few years later, roberto can be called a true veteran. he has released over 50 original releases and 60 remixes including - now-classics like *ride with me*, *besomebody* and *oxymoron*. his vast catalog includes releases on labels such as compost, freerange, delusions of grandeur, room with a view, fina and eskimo. just to name a few.

it seems like ages since we last had roberto rodriguez on the label with his excellent be somebody back in 2008, so were plenty happy to welcome him back for a long overdue follow up.

his music is like a waterfall on house – organic, constantly running,sparkling and fresh.it could be the background tune for magazine beauties in st. tropez,it feels like a drive through californian valleys,or it may as well be the soundtrack tune for a full moon party on the greek islands - yes, it might indeed just be the result of many a club year. just as well, however, we can look at it as some sort of a flip side to those busy and dark times of dull and hard work back in the days, something to simply relax andm make you smile, after a hard days work, with a cigarette in one hand and a smooth drink in the other… imagine a piece of roxy music, a dancefloor in northern italy - some time in the late 80s - and joe smooths promised land.see what i mean?you picture this?well,in that case you have a pretty good idea of robertos serenades style.the original version of tell me feat.kholi is taken from the upcoming album dawn.

roberto rodriguez is going deeper with the hypnotising camera obscura ep to end 2007 with real housemusic for 2008. if warehouse would be still alive, itd sound like this. essential, soulful & timeless masterpiece from one of the hottest newcomers this year !!
