locura present the second vinyl of our brand new imprint, locura records. they are trying to involve the best underground artists, focusing on the first chicago sound, with deep, acid and disco elements. this record starts with our collaboration with ennio colaci, half of minimono (oslo, bosconi, tuning spork), >the keeper of dreams<, remixed on the same side by the highly acclaimed german duo snuff crew (gigolo, rush hour, snuff traxx). the 3 tracks b side will contain 3 originals by meschi (lunar disko), rio padice (tsuba, morris audio) and takeshi kouzuki (mathematics).

this time splendid lo-fi come up with a little and powerful v/a: rio padice is up to skies right now, nothing can be high enough to stretch out his hands and grab it. with vixen he has done his finest work and brings us deep and rough sounding analog and mature simplicity. a sound like a fox roaming thru the dark forest. a pure 909-sound meets a butter packed bassline. this is ment to be very classic stuff. a concept also steinwiese has arranged perfectly. a lusty and classy piece of very crackling music for the vinyl. on black bird a crispy bass and a strong chord are taking us on a ride and show the same forest from above. this one is definitely for the nighttime

claque musique ready to unleash their latest offering, from an artist who has become a key member of the claque family, rio padice. having in recent years devoted time to learning the production techniques of the 90s, blending the use of software, hardware and sampling, his productions, unlike so much of the current trend for looking back, have a mature and studied classic sound and feel to them. his work this year has seen firmly rooted in the front of the most discerning of record boxes.rio follows his remix of micro_on (claquemusique10) with his very own woodland ep. as we have accustomed to, rio delights us with another selection of tracks that see him exploring and bringing together the best in classic sounds with his very own fresh contemporary spin. the beautiful trip through woodland opens the ep. a dreamy bass-heavy acidic number. much different is ocrons land, with its static sounds and almost industrial feel. mutant camels with its bubbling bass, rasping hats and dromedary movement rounds out the originals. remixing the title track is padova born alex picone. renowed for his releases on bass culture, mus and cadenza and fresh from the success of his fahrenheit single, alex ramps things up for the dancefloor on woodland, replacing the original acid line with some fresh guitar licks. perfect!

it is incredible and a little unnerving to discover that rio padices first forays in production came as recently as 2007. 2008 saw him publish his first productions on mosaik musik, which were of a more minimal, techno nature. 2009 saw the successful collaboration with metroline limited, which has spawned a a number of releases and remixes, most notably his road to alberqueque and twin peaks eps. the same year also saw rio join forces with massimo di lena under their new alias >horacio< to release two ep s on the highly acclaimed raum musik and cynosure labels.with rio currently devoting his time to learning the production techniques of the 90s, blending the use of software, hardware and sampling, his productions, unlike so much of the current trend for looking back, have a mature and studied classic sound and feel to them

here at the exprezoo headquarters we like to keep looking forward and to search for new and undiscovered talents, but we also like to go back to the sounds of our roots and, its not a secret, we are in love with neapolitan techno. blend these ingredients, stir for a while, and voila the fourth release on our catalog, by rio padice. actually, the kid isnt really a new one, since he s already had releases on welt,mosaiko, metroline limited and exprezoo digital besides being half of the new and hyped horacio project along with massi dl, but hes part of the new generation of neapolitan producers who keep going down the path started by marco carola and danilo vigorito. the a-side, don dragone, has a techno mood that we didnt feel for some time and that takes us back to when hardgroove was leading the dancefloors, updating and actualizing its sounds, while on the b-side elm street is made to satisfy the classiest tastes, taking the atmosphere towards a good-for-every-purpose dub techno. the last track on the ep, leviatano, keeps up the feeling we fell in love with on question and zenit, with funky percussions and sunny, warm synths.

weso006 is the very expected ep from ragga fonda already well known as rio padice, this italian producer surprises us with this new release. one of the must of the summer in ibiza, especially in underground where it had lots of support. the track is absolutely unique with this ragga flavour in a new techy style. the dance floor just loves it!

metrolines answer to agent dale cooper, rio padice, stroll nonchalantly into town in search of some damn fine coffee, and in return, delivers another stunning four track ep.

excellent peak time minimal techno ... leicht detroit angehaucht.... killer !! played & supported by mihalis safras, perc, maxime dangles, oscar, pierce, oliver klein, gianni vietello, rebekah, steven beyer! biggest fish in the sea! the title largemouth bass sounds like something about the bassinstrument, but its also a type of fish, very popular in north america. secret spot is a fisherman slang word, so who’s gone fishing the biggest bass? rio padice! with remixes by elon (dumb unit, clink) and gary beck (soma, m_nus) this collection is a wonderful mixture of minimal house and techno. all told a great ep.
