vinyl only release + dl code, ... earlier this year, we whet the world s appetite with busztm s first album sampler. now, to wave goodbye to 2017, we re teasing you again via a 2nd sampler ep - a vinyl-only story of dubai . the original s moaning bassline, conversational synth lines and enslaving rhythm precedes 3 amazing remixes, spanning industrial techno, twisted acid and patient progression.

vinyl only, ahead of their collaborative album later this year, pier bucci and oskar szafraniec present their first sampler titled tipico latino featuring a remix by el_txef_a. emerging in the mid 00 s, chilean producer pier bucci first appeared on cadenza with a release alongside luciano himself before dropping multiple releases on crosstown rebels, including his acclaimed album familia . since then he s appeared on get physical and rawax, not to mention launching maruca music - a platform for his own music featuring heavyweight remixers such as baby ford and thomas melchior. szafraniec has been producing under different monikers since 13 years old, releasing two solo albums, recording alongside a guy called gerald in 2012/2013, and touring as a live performer. as oskar szafraniec his production debut was a collaboration alongside ricardo villalobos two years ago, but since then he s appeared on murge recordings and cyclo, as well as collaborating with pier bucci on rawax, who oskar met whilst touring japan tipico latino features gloomy spanish vocals as intricate elements are brought in and out of the mix across its nearly nine-minute duration. subtle throbs and echoing effects are blended with metallic percussion and deep synths for a wistful and mesmerising aesthetic. forbidden colours founder el_txef_a, whose remix talents have been recruited by permanent vacation, galaktika, akbal and culprit, reimagines the original providing a drawn out intro before exploding into a frenzy of crashing cymbals, animated acid and serene vocal moans.

few labels could claim to share the creative purpose and pool of talent that cosmo records does. operating out of casablanca, morocco, the imprint has made its purpose clear to fuse experimental house and techno with traditional african musicianship in a cultural dialogue that spans generations and continents in search of thrilling new musical forms. over the past five years, cosmo has called upon some of the finest producers in the most adventurous corners of 4/4 dance music to collaborate with players of the kora, guembri, lute and many more forms of percussion and melodic instrumentation. the chosen artists congregate at the cosmo recording studios in casablanca, which acts as a hub for these disparate musical energies to come together in a fusion of seasoned, learned performances and hyper-modern electronic processes. amongst the most notorious artists that have contributed to the label so far are masomenos, radiq, argenis brito and ricardo villalobos, while moroccan producer adil hiani provides a local focus to the electronic side of the creative process, as well as conducting the a&r for the label.

it stands for bvoice, anrilov and danilov (denkbar). all three of them are well-respected artists on their own and now they joined together with the label owner pier bucci to create and crossover between russian culture and latin-american soul.
the title on the a-side >musica moscow< is like a night in moscow: trippy, mysterious and lots of rhythm.
the second track on the other side is named >the poem<. it is a deep and thoughtful track complimented with a russian poem by arseniy tarkovskiy which was taken from a movie shot by his son and one of the greatest russian directors ever andrey tarkovskiy himself.

after the exquisite eastern promises ep on recognition, pier bucci & jacek sienkiewicz again join forces for another two slices of romantic extravaganza, this time for piers maruca imprint. both artists seem to share a certain sensibility and inclinations towards a sort of a modest elegance – which is as much old-fashioned, as utterly charming. droga mila is a perfect example of this obviously mature attitude. rhythms, although quite fast-paced, are never aggressive, clearly aimed towards the audience keen to hear much more behind the kick drum. warm, organic and wrapped in feathery padding, those beats are contrapuncted by arpeggiated synth line, bringing a distant hint of melancholic uneasiness. add some mind-bending post-industrial soundscapes and heres almost 9 minutes of fairly engaging exercise going beyond your daily dose of generic minimal techno. flip the record for a track simply designed to become a classic. luna, built around a notorious female vocal sample, is indeed evoking a frozen full moon on a cloudless sky. clocking steadily over 12 minutes, this epic story never gets boring, breathing life and mystery all over the place. both artists trademark mechanical noises and breakdowns are here, twisting and turning the ways of the song, together with pitch-black bass stabs and some of this notorious jazzy vibraphone sounds. the track slows down and accelerates, never losing its plot and consequently wrapping up this long, wintery, dark bedtime story. yet another winner from two friends from two different corners of the globe – eastern europe and south america have never been so close

the journey of a chillian sound influenced by a particular romanian flavor. this sounds wild! therefore, the material to follow will be focused on interesting work. pier bucci together with monochrome including the romanian artists livio & roby allying this time their third beloved partner george g, together they come out in a beautiful ep called, santiago de bucharest. what kind of connections can be found in these two culture background in the context of their own music expression? since last years south america represented a big influence in electronic music, with the latin vibes and soul! extremely obvious is that rumanian artists identify naturaly with latin influences as their common origins helped them easily to experience this into one and solid sound. despite of the latin common element which connect the artists, their soul and spirit it is expressed unique but different in their own particular way.
