classic norken/delsin ep from 2000 repressed. original release text: lee norris became known with his releases as metamatics, through the now defunct clear-label and is running his label neo ouija nowadays. this ep hosts four tracks continuing the style of his previous norken releases. four tracks consisting of very soulful sounds and smooth melodies together with more forward beats or more sophisticated break beats. best to be compared with music from artists like by john beltran, carl craig and his own metamatics of course. beautiful things!

norken aka metamatic releases his first ep on neo ouija. four highly sought after cuts that symbolise the norken sound at the time: deep house with the sleekness and machine melancholy of british chill-out and idm that s complimented with crisp drums which give a nod to early detroit techno. norken is best known or his releases on delsin, hydrogen dukebox and assemble music among others and there are also some upcoming eps on third ear recordings and delsin to look forward to.

delsin s re-issue arm is back with a timely release of classic norken material. featuring on the ep is the cult southern soul - originally released on reel discs in 1998 - plus more frequencies and shifting towards , two tracks from his 1999 album soul static bureau . norken, of course, is lee norris, best known as metamatics and a producer with a fine discography that takes in proper deep house, sleek minimal and atmospheric dub.
