on board music comes back with an original ep from finnish artist mesak. articulated over ambient sounds, idm ballads, futuristic techno textures and unrefined electro beats this new release unrolls a pure masterclass of electronic music. also known for his 90 s electro classics within duo mr. velcro fastener, the veteran producer teams up here with fellow finnish artists mono junk, claws costeau and horns specialist antti hevosmaa to display his impeccable expertise in crafting rhythm and sound. the release also comes with a splendid full cover artwork from berlin based painter natacha mankowski.

third roots united ep called “kisko kisko” comes from one of the finest electro producers from finland, mesak (tatu metsatahti), who is also known from his legendary projects like mr velcro fastener and harmonia skweee label.
this 4-tracker features another finnish underground hero mono junk (vocals on b2 track) and includes a real ghetto-remix by grand master dj overdose straight outta the hague.
all of these tracks were produced in 2018 especially for roots united in a true hardware style.

another electro veteran back in the game. finish producer mesak (also known as the other half of the legendary group mr velcro fastener) has been known for his high quality, advanced spheric electro. bessemerbirne is a massive electro-industrial 4-tracker ep with a killer remix by fellow countryman mono junk, the real deal!!!

mono junks dum records has been dictating trends in the world of minimalistic techno since the 1990s, and its 34th release is as special as any. this one comes from label boss kimmo rapatti aka mono junk vs mesak, who is better known as fellow finn, tatu metsätähti, aka one half of mr velcto fastener and someone who has released on dexter & steffis klakson. together the pair serve up three mixes of their jam and an additional track. title track deep in my mind is a paranoid techno cut with freaky vocal riffs repeating the title as gurgling synth lines and sleek drums rumble below. twitchy synths and high pressure perc add to the hypnotic effect, and overall its easy to see this one making for some perfectly weird dance floor moments. the mix by mono junk is completely the opposite: in his hands it is a beat-less, serene and beautifully styled electro cut that takes you deep into brain soothing space. the electro mind version is then a full on electro jam, with plenty of aqueous synths and fluid lines all squiggling along in classic detroit style. final track sysdrum is back to the raw, with angsty drum lines, crisp and slapping snares and oodles of reverb all making for a brain frying trip.

mesak s 3rd twelve inch on dexter s own klakson records. one half of electro duo mr velcro fastener comes back with his solo project mesak. and brings probably his best release to date.. at least it is his most danceable release ever. our favorite is the jacking let get sum bang which rocks every club for sure!! the other tracks are more electrofied techno-ish tracks which reminds us of some classic carl craig work including the outstanding pak track. like all klakson releases this is another hot one. very much what we like!
