mina records head honcho masaya returns to her ever-impressive imprint this june with a blistering three track ep *la nuit*, featuring a remix from agaric.
ep opener *la nuit* shimmers into life over buttery synths and shifting percussion while ghostly intonations and warm resonations combine to deliver a deep and affecting cut that immediately leaves you wanting more.
for the b-side claudia teams up with fellow vocalist anders ilar to deliver *stars*, a sumptuous affair with delicate percussive arrangements and long-drawn-out synths. drumcode and ovum recordings affiliate agaric steps up for remix duty and utilizes dynamic hooksand hypnotic rhythms to dish up an infectious version of *stars*.

the chilean born and swiss based producer claudia ayala aka masaya has been making her mark for some time with a string of impressive releases on labels such as num, perspectiv and of course her own imprint mina records.

2nd release by masaya for her own mina imprint, backed up with remixes by anders ilar and mihai popuviciu.

this is mina records 9th release with masaya, label boss, finally in the spotlight on production, arrangement and singing duties. her first ep on her own label: >again / get you< both have a minimalist melancholy feel in the electro pop vein.
>again< is remixed by nhar, (frenchman who has just brought out his own ep on ripertons perspectiv label), giving it an 80s soft synth pop sound.
>get you< is remixed by yapacc, resulting in a deeply rhythmic tech-house stomper.

melbourne based junji masayama swerves his debut bearfunk release flying in from leftfield in the guise of his green circle ep. its a fine four tracker for which the adjective eclectic was surely made. smatterings of disco sensibilities, bleepy house, deep groove & squelching synths. green circle leads the pack with all its underground rhythms and chunky synths. monotone radio is a drum led wonk soundscape whilst sponge feet is one for the more uptempo alternative disco floors. oyster rounds things off with more eclectic beats and disco firefly darting keys. one for the varied tapestry that is bearfunk.

rmxs by agnès & sam k, after her incredible release on num with ripperton, >sunshine chile< masaya comes back with another track full of emotions! the a side host the original track, in a pure minimal house style. youll find on this side too the amazing sam k rework. a fette deep & crunchy el choquero reshake, this track is an after party hurricane. on the agnès side, the funkman kill us with 2 reinterpretations: the first one comes in a pure detroit style and kills everyone on its road. massive hook synthz, catchy bassline & house styled drums… this is a pure 2007 nu anthem. the second remix is a pure agnès minimal groove. like a spiral into the deepness & minimalism. in one word .huge.
