when two highly experienced producers and djs like guido schneider and jens bond join forces you can guarantee that fans of electronic dance music will go weak at the knees. no wonder also, that their previous collaborations have always been extremely well recieved. indeed, their dubut release >oh my buffer< from 2004 can still be found residing in many record boxes around the world. after their recent exclusive release >getting sleepy< on highgrade, the berlin label now eagerly awaits the next edition from the super duo. the two tracks >bob & curly< and >out of sight< clearly showcase the rhythmic abilities of former drummer jens bond with crisp beats that get straight to the point. coupled with the ability of guido schneider to create subtle arrangements with original compositions and a sophisticated sound palette, the result is a densely atmospheric work. the tracks travel a path through warm rhythms and psychedelic vocals to the heart of the musical jungle.

massive decks.de tipp!!! this is going to be one of the big summerbombs this year ! guido schneider & jens bond sticked together for this production. they created a driving techhouse tune, wich keeps you on the dancefloor because of its fabulous mixture of groove and hypnotic vocals. on the flip, we have a tiefschwarz remix, which is more into minimal. they created a new feeling by changing the vocals into something different and reducing the beats.

eijajei - aye ya yay! this is a hit record! but what else would you expect when two of berlins hottest dj and producers, guido schneider and jens bond, are working together!? following the duos major success on pokerflat in 2004, we have managed to get the two of them back together for this exclusive release on highgrade. the results are well worth it. >getting sleepy< pulls us comfortably into the musical world of jens bond and guido schneider. without being obvious, and certainly not lazy, the track reclines into a laid back groove that hooks straight into the rhythm, creating a perfect atmosphere for the psychedelic vocals and hypnotic groove. you wont be able to escape the mood, making this the perfect techno weapon for the late night hours. we like! >eijeijei< is the highlight of the record: warm drums, siren like vocals, the whole thing seems to come from a long way away with incredibly smooth beats which make this track so special. maybe this is the sound of a table dance bar in the jungle? its incredibly sexy in any case

schliessfach musik is a new techno label in berlin / germany. as a sublabel from zylinder records the first 10inch maxi single limited to 1000 pcs is comig out. the track >fundamente< on side a was created by the label owner of zylinder records marco fender. clear structures and the variety of samples bound this track to a big club tune. the resident of club watergate (berlin) jens bond designed the track on side b using his modern minimal shuffle sounds made in berlin.

the berlin based dj and highgrade-artist jens bond presents with his new ep >hypochonder< his latest work. bond is allready known for his percussive tracks beside that the resident dj of berlins watergate club is well established thanks to his collaborations with benno blome (sender records) and guido schneider (pokerflat). in the namegiving titeltrack for this new ep for highgrade jens bond gives it all: stakkatos of rolling percussions meet pearling synth-lines, creating a jacking, neverending groove. >got some…< develops this recipe for success more into a slightly darker direction, while keeping up beeing changefull with the same >hands-up<-factor. instead of a break mr. bond serves us with >paulista grill< the next highlight of this ep. massive, with a touch of darkness, build on a strong fundament of a funky, dry-asa-bone groove. three tracks, simultaneously eventfull and homogeneous, carrying clearly jens bonds signature.

after a long time friendship and countless over-the-top partycrashes together, we are very happy to welcome our friend and one of our fave djs, mr. jens bond on highgrade. after his vinyl debut with guido schneider on steve bugs pokerflat recordings last year this is jens bond s second record to hit the streets. jens, who managed to establish himself as one of the true top djs within the berlin house scene, delivers a 12inch which represents his musical (and spinning) style of electronic dancemusic very well - dry, compulsive grooves, a very minimal-housy structure with deep aesthetics, perfect sound design and an overall superb float between the hard and the soft, exactly what we wanted from this guy and more!
