following recent excursions for adam beyers drumcode imprint, joseph capriati delivers some hand picked remixes of tracks taken his 2010 lp save my soul. cari lekebusch and fergie remix the young neapolitan producer who has won a host of influential patrons such as dave clarke, billy nasty, slam, chris liebing and the advent in recent years. cari lekebusch, who needs no introduction, is up first and tackles gmid. the result is a purposeful, hypnotic and mechanical slice of linear techno that uses a fever-dream series of overlapping soundscapes to brilliant effect. british dj/producer and ex-radio 1 host, fergie, adds to proceedings of with his mix of noise to noise - a shuffling immaculately produced slice of contemporary techno with an arrangement aimed squarely at the floor. analytic trail has been instrumental in creating what is now recognized as the neapolitan techno sound. the labels dynamic and inventive approach is the key to their success and the name analytic trail is synonymous with the italian big-room techno sound. launched in 2001 by markantonio the label currently sits proudly at the head of italys vibrant techno scene

fergie and excentric kicking off the year with ragaroo, a tense builder, winding things up to an uncontrollable level with a mixture of rising and just plain strange sounds, with the usual high production standards that you expect from a fergie track. on remix duties is jus phil (monu digital), who returns to the excentric after his shuffling and bass heavy remix of fergie - break-out from earlier in the year. his take introduces a low slung yet bouncy groove, hooking listeners in before using the weird craggy effects of the original to really take things to a new level of twistedness

after the long series of remixes on excentric music we now have an outstanding new release from the very popular reset robot. he has recently had tracks released on noir music as well as collaboration projects on 8 sided dice and tracks forthcoming on sci-tec and tronic. on the a side we have an anthemic horn laden club killer that builds and drops with maximum intensity which the man himself - fergie gets to grips with on the flipside.

umeks 1605 music therapy imprint returns with this killer 2 track release from one of the producers of the moment - fergie. he has released a wealth of excellent material over the last 12 months not only on his own excentric music label but also for large imprints such as great stuff and this again hits the spot. both tracks are synth driven peak time performers that will not disappoint.

the next remix project on the list for fergies excentric music imprint are two new interpretations of his fat track - question mark. on the a side yousef gives us a funky driving, classy rework with an awesome groove, tight percussion and big room feel. on the flipside there is a very clever interpretation from dan doran and antonio menez with its shuffled minimal groove and catchy synth hooks. another great package.

fergies excentric music imprint continues with its remix series showcasing new reworks of fergies recent work by some of his favourite producers. on this latest 2 track installment we have an a side remix from the alter ego of dave robertson - reset robot - with its climbing, knarly synth line and drving feel. on the flipside we have a corker of a remix from pig and dan with its dark, bass heavy warehouse feel and clever synth work

under the stewardship of alan fitzpatrick, 8 sided dice has earned the right to be considered one of the most exciting labels to emerge in 2008. tracks 9 hours later, germ, ghost train and mau yin have prompted the likes of carl cox, dubfire, john digweed, nic fanciulli and christian smith to sing alan? praises and catapulted the 8 sided dice on to want-lists of fans across the globe. having notched up four releases under his own steam, alan now turns to his contemporaries

next in fergies awesome series of remixes comes his classic break out track. here it gets reworked on the b side by the superb echomen. the remix itself is a twisted, swinging bomb with its knarling synths, white noise, catchy stab and driving drums. on the a side we see jus phil and christian hoff do the original justice with a very bass heavy driving feel and spacey synths and percussion. 2 great remixes.
