sender has finally reached the big milestone with its catalogue number 100. what a ride it has been through the past 16 years! on this occasion we proudly present a special selection of tracks and collaborations produced by label-head benno blome. a series of tracks, or rather a series of night shots. shots taken in the absence of daylight, capturing raw b/w-stills of spirit and drive. the first night shot (send100.1) is coming with a stunning original version of >check check< by benno blome featuring vox by konrad cadet aka baby ford on side a, and two strong remixes by mihai popoviciu and dub taylor on the flipside. mr taylor is also known as tigerskin, not only on sender’s catalogue. a lot more to come soon...

arteform are proud to be serving up a re-release of a massive track alongside some great remixes. the original ‘moving free’ by benno blome feat. big bully was released on berlin-based label bar25 and now it gets refreshed by tripmastaz, rhadow and blome himself with fantastic results.

benno blome and adrian martin have created a reminiscence of sound. echoes calling from the past into the very moment you are in. *echoes from home* recalls the deepest and hidden treasures lying and waiting patiently inside your soul. creatively complex in movement, the sound carpet is easy and accessible from every point of listening. a touch of incense from the past combined with todays visionary artistry of both performers. close your eyes and follow the echo, the capturing flow from the original version. the nico stojan mix is a sexy combination of the original flow with a touch of bitchy attitude added to the bass line. perfect for a more hidden place near the dance floor while kellerkind has added a deep sassy feel to his interpretation of *echoes from home*. both versions pay tribute to the original mix without losing either the originals or their own character. this is *echoes from home*, the more you hear it, the more you want to play it!

after two buzzing releases, senzen is quickly getting recognition it deserves. but third time is the charm, right? well, at least in this case. senzen 3 title track, >gonna b<, is based on studio sessions of label boss benno blome together with his long time friend armin engel, who has worked on projects with fela kutis band rhythm taxi & jimi tenor, and had a show on jazzradio berlin for years. the track itself has influences from both producers. tech house meets jazz, what a fascinating concept! freestyle drumming, keyboard jams and effects tied together, creating an original approach to club music. remixers of >gonna b<, marcin czubala (mobilee) and jin choi (contexterrior, private gold, archipel), are two of the hottest producers at the moment. after his excellent streak of releases on mobilee, marcin makes an outstanding debut on senzen and delivers a deeply rooted house remix concentrating on tiny tweaks and variations while carrying them solidly throughout the track. jin, on the other hand, doesn’t let functionality stand in the spotlight of his remix. his music is supposed to touch emotionally and to move the head and the body - and believe me, it does!
