2012 repress !!! patrik skoog kak agaric isnt only one of the youngest veteran tech­no and house producers from sweden, he is also one of the most interesting and inspired. though incredibly versatile, the sustained energy in his sets and productions are equally exceptional. in the last two years, agaric established the club tracks 10 inch series on his label we are. besides his own stellar productions, collaborations with close friends shonky, waker bernard, ed davenport, and beaner have also graced the club tracks series. international support came from leading djs like richie hawtin, seth troxler, loco dice, ben klock, luciano, joris voorn, magda, laurent garnier, sven väth, and adam beyer.

mikael stavöstrand (lick my deck, clink, highgrade) spent a few days in berlin recently, so why not get him over to the we are hq and work on some tracks with agaric, right? the boys first track is a deeper bass driven techno track interchanging grooves and eerie strings and percussion arrangements whereas the flipside on this limited 10 inch goes more funky and presents a surprising vocal bit where vealchop out of los angeles asks himself why certain things went the way they did! already tried and tested to excited crowds in clubs like 1001 london, rex paris and tresor berlin...

these two tracks have proved to work wonders on dancefloors across the planet, support from all the usual players and a massive follow up to the previous two >club tracks< releases in the series, which have received plays and praise by djs from all various styles such as laurent garnier, d julz, heartthrob, luke slater and dj hell to name a few. a-side track >nobody home< grows into a huge build using an oldschool moog-bassline, whilst the b-side chops up and pitches around an edited voicerecording over straight forward beat, resulting in a very unusual, groovy and hypnotic jam for the late hours.

the follow up to agarics succesful first volume that came out in june is equally big, containing two tracks that get plays and dj support by drumcodesjoel mull, kreon, mossa, derek plaslaiko, alexi delano, tim green, ed davenport, to name a few.pär grindvik (spectral) says: >for me those songs are more than just great tools! a lovely ep with both personality and great deep! thanks!<

adam beyer imprint. a stunning two tracker by agaric and steve logan. the a side is a fantastic chugging track with razor sharp production that just builds and builds with key elements like swirling vocals and synths and a funky bassline. the flip takes a much darker approach with its reverse bass line, synth pattern and super sharp hi hats. this is another fanatastic release from one of the hottest labels around at the moment

this ep is inspired by the idea behind a clothing shop in london, in the 60ies. it was a place that became a cult institution for artists and creatives of all kinds at that time, based on sharing ideas and imagination, and here the circle closes to this record. we want to take you on a musical trip, with this record full of branches and secret paths. the well-known remixers andreas henneberg, agaric and normen weber used their imagination to show the main track in completely different shades. straightforward and for the big dancefloor, as well as deep and warm for the secret festival floor in the grove. let us take you on the trip, here and now and forever.
