Obviously, the prevailing desire is to introduce young talents, that will compose the tomorrow’s scene, among a novice or informed public. Eclectic by the choice of its tracks, the path and universe of each artist, this record wish to offer a musical trip, while touching the maximum number of persons, without limitation to a particular musical genre. No need to be confined to a musical genre, the richness of RECORD002 come and meet the multiple personalities of its artists. Young French project, PWFM aspires to develop the springboards, to brighten up the curiosity of music lovers (or not), help and push the young scene, and wish to obtain their adhesion to expand its community.
PWFM is a platform created by the end of 2015 in the aim to put forward the young producers of electronic music. Collaborative and community-based web-radio, media, label, promoter but also a community of more than 20,000 people, the young project accompanies the up-and-coming artists by proposing springboards that permit to win experience and visibility.
In 2016, Provocative Wave for Music decided to press its first vinyl. Faithful to its convictions, the platform offered to young artists the possibility to register on the website, and then let the listeners vote for their favourite producers. A few months later, the 6 talents the most acclaimed (P.O, Paul André, LEOZ!NHO, YRNEH, AIROD and EKLPX) were chosen to be part of RECORD001 : the side A is composed by House tracks and the side B is more Techno.
Praised by the specialised press like Trax Magazine or Hard Life, the team decided to take another crack at the experience for a second time. Same system, with more than 150 registered producers, to finally finish with 6 artists selected by the web-radio’s listeners.
This time, we will find Cogan le Berbčre, Troyon and Lone Wolf for the side A, that will be a mix of house, acid and melodic techno.
On the other side, the acid will be present again but this time enrolled with tracks more percussive and techno, composed by Denise Wright (a woman, yes!), Predacid and Damia One.
