Part 3 with tracks from Lützenkirchen, Chopstick & Johnjon, Stephan Hinz, Norman Weber and Dizko Toaster

3 years of Stil vor Talent, 3 EPs to celebrate. Here we go then with the last of the birthday celebratory ratpack with five equally fresh tracks from the creative wonderland that is Stil vor Talent. The show is kicked off by Lützenkirchen, mastermind behind great techno anthems and the ironic pop track 3 Tage Wach. His track Nutcracker fits the name: this is a cracking piece of dark techno. A rolling bass line, some grizzling effects, punchy percussions and a freaked-out melody will make this tune nest into many record boxes for sure. Next up are Chopstick & Johnjon, the Berlin-Hamburg-based production duo that present us their deeply chilling synth-monster Stethoskop. The melody and bassline create a haunting piece of electronic music that really only takes the thrill of things again when the groove kicks back in. Housy, yet extremely deep and moving: Nice! Move onto the flip for more house from Luna City Express’ frontman Norman Weber. His tune is a great deep house track with a steady wonderfully harmonic piano loop that just keeps ringing in your ear: Sweet! After that the stage is cleared for South-German producer Stephan Hinz, whose track Poppyrock is based on a nice shuffly beat pattern, a dialogue between two different snythies and some great snares and percussions. Then a xylophone is thrown in for good measure, which really turns the track around into one of those lurking-around-the-corner tech-anthems. Last up is also a South-German producer: Dizko Toaster. Pop-influenced squeaky house is his signature and he stays faithful to that: Mr Love is a feel-good-track par excellence. A melodic bassline, little bleeps and blops and a great vocal sample make this track fit for any partys - from South Germany to Hamburg to Ibiza and back to Berlin. Dizko Toaster is keeping things real for Stil vor Talent.
