The third EP on Visky Recordings is brought to you by a fresh and talented upcoming producer, dj and music lover hailing from Grodno in Belarus. Schmoltz has had a long-term affair with music which got him to collecting records and fiddling with music making software and hardware. Growing up as a metalhead kid, he came the disco route and later to be mesmerized by the soulful powerful funky and electric sounds of Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Stars on 45 and whatever else was to be found in the piles of soviet Melodiya records. Schmoltz delivered three great jazzy, deep & soulful tracks for his debut 12 inch on czech based Visky Recordings. On top of that the B side offers a remix from Ferrispark label head Scott Ferguson. Scott gave to Raindrops a totally different feel and energy in a way of his own.
